I wonder what US promo will look like for ALN. I know we've been speculating Jimmy Fallon ever since Adam started following him.

Also, I'm thinking WBR must have had a deal with Capital FM to play it tons of times, I keep seeing on Twitter that people are hearing ALN Hope BBC Radio 1 and 2 play it tons of times too, come this Nov!

Hmmm, the week before the AMAs! Intriquing! Quick calendar check. He is available. In Paris on the 19th but that is plenty of time to get back Yes, flying West makes that easy! Here is my plan, are you reading this WBR? Adds date the 16th (HAC) and 17th(CHR). AMAs the 22nd. Ellen and Kimmel the week of the 22nd! ETA: Yup, a non stop flight that would get him home on the 20th at 1:25 PM!

Hmmm, the week before the AMAs! Intriquing! He'll be in Paris on the 19th. Maybe he'll had on back to LA for the awards on Nov 22nd. ETA: Theosgma and I are thinking alike....lol He also got Swedisch Idol in that time frame somewhere (that's on Friday so 20th?). And he has to be in Dubai on the 13th. So will be very busy again. Plus I'm still hoping he'll do The Voice here in the Netherlands as well. First live show is most likely on the 27th or maybe the 20th. We'll find out in due time I guess.

Hopefully that Holiday show on Dec 17th in Kansas City is the last of those. He's gonna need a minute (only 2 wks) to pull together his TOH tour before he heads to Japan the first of January.

Adam is one busy man. Don't know how he does it.
Loved the AU X-factor performance and felt that same discourse inside of me, that I then found reflected in the discussion here, once I logged on. I loved the integrity of whole performance, this whole Las Vegas faux recreation of some alternate reality, and that was of course brilliantly captured. And then I thought, are these pictures from that performance going to be presented in isolated form, without context, and are people likely to project what they see onto Adam himself, perceiving him as 'old-fashioned', rather than understanding the concept behind the performance? And the answer was, probably 'yes'.
I just had to admire again, how brave he is. He is so much in the public eye, but in such matters, he lets the chips fall where they may. If people don't get it or don't like it, too bad for them. He'll do his thing. And you cannot take the glam or the performer out of this guy, it is part of who he is. Critics be damned, he will make it a performance, and not an intimate moment, even though he is singing about a lonely night.
There are many songs that have been written about loneliness that pull it in, make it an intimate moment. Very few songs about loneliness have wailing vocals and Vegas-show size dimensions to it. This performance did. But by doing it his way, he shows up the loneliness inside the world of glamour, rather than just the feeling itself. It brings that contrast out. This is, in the end, what Adam does best, show up the dissonance in something, rather than presenting just a one-dimensional message.
'Some people will love it, some will hate it, that's just what music is', said Adam in his very first performance on Idol (top36) to Simon. He has marched to that drum ever since.
But because he brings multiple ideas or feelings together, works out a contrast, that is why you find 10000 comments under every video of his, because people have something to talk about. And something to think about. It is not the path to the easy top hit, but it is a path to building a loyal fanbase and growing interest, and interest in Adam has been growing tremendously throughout 2015. It is the path to longevity, and that is what he wanted above all in life.

Lead down to around 14,000 votes - we are losing ground very, very fast >:(. Please, no second place for a voice that is a GFG.

If only 100 fans take the time to vote 100 times (10,000 votes total per day), we can build up a sizable lead that would be pretty hard to beat and hopefully discourage the other team's fans who are relentless and fierce (aren't we the fiercest though?). It does not take long to cast 100 votes especially if you have several tabs open.
And don't forget, stream ALN! One million, here we come!
I'll keep voting but it's been over a MONTH since QAL were there. How long do they expect to 'milk' this vote thingy?!lol
