WOW! \o/ youtu.be/gimzRqsPTZc Oops! wrong year... Oh, that is soooo perfect! Thanks for posting it. If Adam is watching this finale do you think he is thinking, "How the fuck did I ever make it on that show and make it to the finals if THIS is what the producers and the Idol watching public want?????!!!"

Just a last comment on the JD thing : I think JD being this unfiltered is because he thinks that since it worked for Adam and Ada was praised and loved for being super honest, JD probably thinks it would work for him too. Unfortunately, no one told him that that unfiltered mouth better be backed up with undisputed talent, charm, warmth and goodwill from media and fans.

While it is true that he doesn't throw BS at us in interviews or blindly speak the party line, he is a master at answering the questions he wants to answer in the way he wants to answer them, while ignoring or diverting the questions he doesn't. He is adept at finding and focusing on the positive in any situation, while keeping the negative and any conflicts or disagreements far from the press. In his interviews he is generous, personable, articulate, and comfortable, but, make no mistake, he is in control of what he says and how he says it. Same with his tweets. One smart, savvy man.

Anyone game to promote it?

You are right as usual. I think there might have been a period in Adam's life when he really did loosen the hatch on that filter, but it's been tightly bolted on since he became career oriented and decided to go for Idol. I look at all the photos of Adam from 2003-2008 and see a freer, looser underground club kid. Then I see pics of Adam at the Upright Jan 5, 2009. Adam has given up most of the makeup right before Idol aired.
