Known for his privacy, Adam Lambert isn’t like many celebs who go out to popular clubs or parties all the time, so when the 29-year-old rock star does have a night out on the town, he does it up big! HollywoodLife.com has all the inside scoop on Mr. Lambert’s intimate night with boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen, at their friend, Markus Molinari launch for his jewelry line, J.Molinari, and his thirtieth birthday at Tru Hollywood May 20.

“Adam and Sauli were super sweet and came to support Markus and his big night. They nestled at the table next to the stage with the other host of the night, John Terzian, from the h.wood Group,” an eyewitness tells us. “They also wanted to see their other friend, Ferras, who performed.”

Adds the insider, “There was an adorable girl who was passing out electronic cigarettes called BluCigs and Adam and Sauli thought she was super cute and chatted with her for awhile. The bar was sponsored by Hpnotiq and they were sipping on cocktails all night.”

Another party goer says Adam seemed like he was in a great mood and “everyone kept talking about his new frosted hair!”

Last winter, we speculated for awhile whether or not Adam and Sauli — a Finnish TV star — were an actual couple, so it’s nice to know they are still going strong and are happy!

We can’t wait to see Adam’s “Behind the Music” on VH1 when it comes out this summer. In fact, we’ve been told some of the interviews for the special were actually filmed at the same venue as the party — Tru Hollywood — this past month.

In this episode of Behind the Music, Adam Lambert opens up to VH1 about the challenges he faced during his childhood including realizing he was gay in 6th grade. After finally coping with his identity, Adam freed himself at the age of 18, coming out to his family and moving to Hollywood, CA to pursue his dream of being an entertainer. Struggling to make ends meet, Lambert received his first big break when he landed a part in the European tour of Hair at age 19. The excitement of his first role brought out Adam’s wild side as he began to experiment with sex, drugs and rock n’roll. For the next eight years Adam was continually cast in various stage productions including Wicked. At age 27 and without a record deal, Adam had a realization during a psychedelic experience at the Burning Man festival that if he wanted fame he would have to take control and make it happen. In turn, Adam decided to audition for the iconic TV show, American Idol. Making the top 13, Adam was poised to go far in the competition until scandalous photos of him dressed in drag and kissing another man leaked on the Internet. Adam remained tight-lipped about the photos to the press, determined to keep the focus on his talent. As he advanced to the final round of the competition, the media began to debate whether America would elect a gay Idol. Placing second, Adam quickly landed a record deal with RCA and 19 Recordings, taking the opportunity to come out about his sexuality in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine. However, Adam wasn’t done shocking the world, and during his debut television performance at the “American Music Awards” he stunned audiences by kissing his male bassist onstage. Following a huge backlash from viewers, Adam released his debut album For Your Entertainment, which skyrocketed to #3 on the Billboard chart in its first week. Viewers of this episode of Behind the Music will see never-before-seen home video footage, interviews with family, friends, industry experts and musical luminaries including Barry Weiss and American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen. I've added more ATOP members to the map ... there are now 283 listed, which is everyone who has posted more than once. While it added quite a few international members, a lot more ended up in the Pacific Ocean ... over 100 are there now!

To the left of the interactive map there is a list of everyone on the map, in order of posting frequency. I started that way because I didn't think I would have time to get everyone on ... now I wish I had done it alphabetically ... oh well, a project for another day! If you look in your geographic area and click on the flags, the name and location will pop up and you can see who else is in your area. If you can't find yourself and think you might be swimming, you can do a "find" on the page (Command-F if you are using Safari on a Mac) and enter your ATOP name ... it will pop up your name and show you where you are. If you want to update your location, please PM me and I will fix it.

The interactive map is being a little wonky right now, apparently because I exceeded the number of names that can be listed on the left side ... so when you first open the map only the flags for the names visible on the left show up; if you scroll to the bottom of the names you can click on the "2" to move to the 2nd page ... at that point all the flags show up. I know, weird, but I'm not sure how to fix that! ???
