I missed most of it because people kept calling after the first 10 minutes :-/ But Adam looked HOT and #2 talk is getting me all excited. When I saw JD come out my first though was, "It's fun to stay at the YMCA...." But I think I have a crush on Rob Halford. I like smart bald bad boys. Thanks everyone for all the pics, tweets ect.  Sounded like it was a pretty good show all around? Now our international man of awesomeness is of to Russia!!!!!! He never lets us get bored for too long, god love him. |

Oh, look! So he does! I was too busy looking at their smiling faces to see their feet. I know the red carpet stuff must be boring for Sauli, but I think it's really cool that Adam feels free to hold his hand and pose for pictures. He's really enjoying just living his life. |

Really, well I am sure all of their conversation will be classified. For guys who are supposed to be friends it is the most clandestine relationship of any of Adam's friendships. sure is. they must have been sitting close but I don't see kris in the audience. I have to agree this finale did not celebrate the contestants that much. In S8, Adam, Kris, and Allison were the most memorable performances of the finale. Adam shined with KISS and Queen. Kris, Keith Urban, and Queen. Allison and Cyndi Lauper were incredible. I don't remember who Danny sang with. Even last year, Crystal, Lee, and Casey James were the stars. As difficult as that must have been, they somehow managed. Danny sang with Lionel Ritchie, now why in the hell do I remember that :/ |

I must be cynical because that sounds like a fed answer to a young girl. Carrie isn't the most successful person to come out of the competition if you count the rest of the world... that would be Kelly Clarkson but Idol loves to push the meme that Carrie is #1 because Simon made that prediction way back in the day.... reality is Kelly has sold 10 million more albums than she has globally and has had far more radio play success spinwise and across genres. We all know that the Idol producers manipulate all kinds of things -- this is just not one of those cases. Check the Lauren fanboards and they have collected Lauren's comments about Carrie from long before Lauren tried out for Idol. It has been widely promoted all season on Idol included last night when Carrie selected one of Lauren's songs. So, of course, the producers could have started manipulating this 6 years ago and planted all those comments and quotes. But I do not think so. I don't frequent the boards of people I have no interest in but I'll take your word for it. Although I do wonder why or how anyone would track the comments of a then 10 year old child for future reference Wonder why Lauren didn't sing a Carrie song in her audition for Idol? instead she sang Faith Hill.... [/cynical idol watcher since season 1] ;D |
