We don't know where Adam is. Jenny Woo is the not shady bar in Finland where Adam & Sauli met.  Oh why did I think Jenny Woo was a makeup artist? LOL. Where did I get that?? lol I think Adam did use a make up artist named Jenny after Sudan left. Anyone else remember her last name? Jenny Chua? Help me out. I'm apparently losing brain cells. Maybe it is my lack of sleep due to Adam stanning.  Jenny Chua, that was it. Thanks. |

I haven't checked it yet, but Adam is not Simon Cowell's artist. He is a Sony/19M artist. I think he confirmed it when people asking about his promo in UK that he's nothing to do with Simon Cowell.. but he has something to do with Simon Fuller. Plus Cowell has never talked about Adam since the finale and he's reluctant to talk about Adam when someone interviewed him i.e. ex-idol to compete in X Factor Yeah, Adam's not Simon Cowell's artist, but Q3 was explaining in the "How Much Money Does Adam Make for his Music" thread that there's a shell game going on with 19 and SYCO and a lot of Idols have a SYCO logo on their albums as part of the financial deal with Simon to keep X-Factor out of the US for all those years. It was driving me batshit to think that Cowell's money-grubbing soul could be profiting off of Adam when he (Cowell) has had NOTHING to do with any of Adam's hard work and subsequent sucesses. But IMO doesn't look like 19M/RCA would want to hand their "goldmine" over to Syco and Cowell will not take anything less than great artist for him to manage. He wants artist that has that "IT' factor and make more money for him. And howmany AI alumns that has that "IT" factor. 8-) |

I fell asleep for a while in front of my laptop LOL. I must be going to bed. It's been an AWSOME weekend in front of my laptop. I saved 320 pics and I'm still not done.Now that the pro pics are coming I have a lot more to save.  Good night all and thank you for the company!! They SYCO logo only appears on the albums from AI1 to AI4. It was not referenced in the second contract covering AI5 to AI9. I have not check all of the albums but it is on Clay's and Kelly's early albums.Adam is managed by 19 Management not Simon Cowell. What I am referring to is solely a financial arrangement. Simon Cowell gets a percentage of royalties for all Idol artists from AI1 though AI9. It is a totally passive arrangement. The contract came out when there was a lawsuit between Cowell and 19E/Simon Fuller. All of the documents needed to trace the financial arrangements are filed with the US SEC and part of the settlement in the UK. If you want info, please PM me. Took me months to collect all the documents to figure it out. But I have a copy of the contract between Idol and Simon Cowell's company SYCO. The comment you are referring to is that there was some confusion in the press about who was doing Adam's UK promo -- that was Simon Fuller, not Cowell. And Adam cleared it up. And, as we later learned, Simon Fuller was focused on trying to survive at CKX (he did not) and Sony UK had to take over Adam's UK promo at the last minute. ETA: One more attempt to be clear. Simon Cowell has no direct relationship with Adam Lambert. Simon Cowell, through his company SYCO, has a solely financial arrangement with 19 Entertainment to get a percentage of 19 Recordings royalties. Hope that makes sense. Thankfully, neither Simon has anything to do with Adam any more. Yikes... thanks God you're here to give all these explaination Q3. I don't like reading legal docs... ;D btw- my understanding that Fuller has some share in UK XFactor as part of the Fuller vs Cowell settlement also. I was wondering if Fuller has some share in America X Faxtor also because of it. So.. Adam's no longer under Fuller's wing??? How about other AI alumns such as Kelly, Carrie or Daugtry? |

This makes me think of that interview Cowell gave where he was asked who he thought would win AI10 (?); he said Adam. It took him a second to realize what he had said, then laughed sheepishly and said something like wrong season. So he may not talk too much about Adam but apparently he has thought about him and just associates his name with "winner". Ohh.. don't get me wrong.. in Cowell's mind Adam's in the winner for Season 8. You can tell he's so dissapointed that Adam didn't win, he's "kinda" expressed his dissapointment to Ryan the next day in his radio interview. You also can tell from his expression when they announced the winner. Oh and by looking at his face and crossed arms when Kris was announced as winner. Anyway -- we know that "America rarely gets it right!" |
