Oh sure, for $0.99 for the record, nobody will ever say, oh she made it because of the low price. They will quote she sold a million the first week becasue they will forget the price. Guess she couldn't let Taylor Swift beat her also Update: Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' Projected to Sell 1 Million First Week | Billboard.com t.co/muEyzY0 via @addthis

Here is Lee singing the National Anthem at the NBA playoffs: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOQQhcIaiqgCrystal also sang it at a Toledo Mud Hens Game. Every other top 4 finalist from Idol has been booked for 1 or more national anthems. It is an Idol tradition. if there are any. Even Justin and Blake got anthems to sing. All but Adam. Yeah but he's the anti-Idol. The celebrity Idol that comes late to the Idol's final and doesn't do the backroom sitdowns trying to drum up business. The Idol who makes news when he changes his hair. The Idol that is busy making his own songs and sang the anthem tons of times growing up so not a big deal. And whom we did hear already on his top 3 trip home.

It is very conceivable that considering gays are classed as second class citizens with unequal rights, that he does not derive great pleasure in singing the national anthem.. Home of the free... yeah if you are straight. Maybe when equal rights are afforded all citizens, gay, straight, transgender, no matter race, color or creed, maybe then he can sing it from his heart. We all know that Adam sings what he feels in his heart. You could be right but I think the whole subject fits into the "it ain't that deep" category. Adam has said many times that he doesn't think that much about being gay which I'm sure has changed in the last year or so but more in instances where it is overly emphasized rather than as a conscious thought or attitude that he is being discriminated against. And from things he's said I also thinks he is happy to be living in the US and knows that even though it is not close to being perfect the good outweighs the bad. If we were talking about Neil I'd think he had thought this out but I think Adam expends his energy in other directions. He seemed thrilled to be at the base in San Diego and knew how excited they were to see him, so to me it is just a tempest in a teacup.

OMG. Arms and tummy. For Adam, that's nearly nekkid. What I cracks me up most about that gif is that every few seconds Tommy crosses the stage staring at Adam's belly. What I love most is Adam jumping up and down singing "If I had you..." OK, that and the belly shot. ;D

He has so much fabulous stuff going on, that I'm not sure how we've ended up spending so much time on this. I want to listen to more video from yesterday's concert. Look at the pictures of him and his boyfriend holding hands on the red carpet. Try to figure out what work opportunities he's pursuing in London. Guess whether or not he's going to Sweden to see MM. Imagine him in Finland meeting the parents. Everything in his life is pretty damn golden right now.

Very impressive that A & S can trust each other enough to go out to parties, or bars, separately. Says a lot about their relationship. IMHO Hmm... not specifically directed at you, glamnana, but at a lot of assumptions flying around twitter as well. I'm a person who did have a serious long-distance relationship with someone overseas for three years before we eventually got hitched. Therefore the fact that people in this situation spend large chunks of time apart by necessity/while fulfilling their dreams/visiting family, and that during that time both have happy, fulfilling, playful lives out clubbing with their other friends, is just natural and healthy. I find it neither impressive or unimpressive, neither the sign of a serious relationship nor the sign of a casual one, just normal behavior. JMHO.

Well I started this SSB discussion and I was not trying to convince anyone of anything. I just still believe that there are some SSB's that Adam will not be asked to sing in the next couple of years -- ranging from live, nationally televised events (sports championships) to political events. For example, I do not expect to see Adam singing the SSB for an Obama event like Jennifer Hudson did.
And having been at a Memorial Day event earlier today, I just thought about it.
Well, I'll leave it lay (until 4th of July). And no it does not matter that much.

When you think about it, singing it at a Marine Base is way more meaningful than singing it at a Laker's game. Not as big an audience, but still very special, IMO. I think there has to be a reason and it can't be his schedule. The Lakers are right down the road from Adam's house. Either he doesn't want to do it at a sports event, or hasn't beeen asked. Why? I guess we'll never know.
