I loved that these adult BCC reviewers showed Adam the respect he deserves. Adam responded in this forum with one of his best interviews. I am a long time lurker, a role I am very good a and comfortable with. However, I have followed Adam closely since Idol, have bought all his music, seen all of his interviews, voted in poll after poll, watched every performance online, attended two GNT shows and and one QAL so I am a Glambert by behavior if not declaration. Thank you to everyone who works on this board. And Thank you to all posters. Magneticresonance.....

Funny that the interviewer. remarked to the listening audience..Adam is coming.. don't worry ,He's walking up the steps...... Lovely interview.. but I can't help but feel a sesnse of disappointment that they asked Questions about being gay..Will Adam ever beable to just be that great singer without being labeled.. He must be so weary of this line of questioning.. I think Adam looks tired because of the larger beard and the longer hair... I want to see his gorgeous face... Adam is gay -- it is part of who he is. Interviewers usually ask questions about celebrities' personal lives, interests, families, dating, etc. He is also the first gay American mainstream pop star. He will always be the first -- and he will be asked about the experience for his entire life. Unless the "gay questions" are "mean", I think in balance they are good for Adam (makes him more interesting and differentiate him -- both of which are needed to become a big star) and his responses are good for building LGBT acceptance. Most importantly to me, Adam is proud of who he is and his pride has done immeasurable good at inspiring all kinds of people to be brave, to believe in themselves and to try one more time. I hope "they" never stop asking Adam the "gay" questions. I don't mind the gay question, either, as long as they're sincere, respectful questions and not just sarcastic or demeaning. Adam can handle. His gay identity is integral to public identity and it gives him a real platform to discuss important social issues. The topic gives him a chance to occasionally show that he's thoughtful and intelligence and well-spoken.

This is a very nice interview, i love long interviews, you can go deeper. And again in this interview it really shows how good Adam with words and with answers (no "eh", no silences). Love the "I like to milk a moment", haha, that's our Adam. Also love what he says about how he gets Freddie. This is a wonderful interview!! "Milk a moment" -- maybe that explains the moo!

As long as it's not disrespectful or playing into stereotypes. Infact, even if it is playing into stereotypes, it's an opportunity for someone to break those stereotypes with intelligent replies, although I can understand that, that gets very tiring after a while, but every little thing done has a knock on positive effect.

Random 'hey, that's Adam!' moment today on the Waterlooplein in Amsterdam. I was browsing through clothes there in an outside stall. The seller was blasting good music (a lot of EDM), so I wasn't in a hurry to leave. Then I heard the start of the Muse version of 'Feeling Good'. I smiled, remembering Adam singing this on idol, and happily continued browsing. After a few seconds my heart and brain started tugging at me again, and I really listened to the song. It suddenly dawned on me that this was Adam himself singing!!! Such an unexpexted pleasure! After that: Ghost Town remix! Turned out he had made (or found) a playlist on soundcloud with quite a lot of Adam in it. I was sorry I didn't find anything to buy from him. That little cloth stall sure knows how to catch your attention! The perfect playlist Hey Nic, we should go there, maybe next Spring...?

Would love that, actually. In earlier years, I was wary, because it refreshes the idol connection in the mind of people, but a) in 2016, that will be refreshed anyhow, and after that year permanently retired, so I don't think it matters, and b) Adam has moved on in so many ways, that I don't think it is a problem for him anymore. That new mashup is fantastic. This guy has real talent, and I hope he goes and tries some songwriting/producing. Often I find remixes and mashups uninspiring, like throwing around of building blocks; this one, I have listened to on repeat for the last hour, because it is fascinating. It uses the swing that is inherent in ALN, accentuates it, and combines it with a song that has a similar vibe and message. It feels lamenting and at the same time soothing. Really uses the vocals and lyrics to create something new. And the fact that his vocals are consistently higher than hers, gives it inherently this message of being comfortable with alternate sexuality or androgyny. I really love it. By the way, could their tweet get a few retweets or favs? They tweeted a lot of tweets about it. This was their original tweet though and that one doesn't have that much re-tweets either: twitter.com/ArtsOutLoudInc/status/667371705111871488
