Well personally Adam should be playing arenas, he is getting to that level. I guess it matters how much he can fit the bill. I was thinking maybe he well be a co-act with another act, seeing Demi fell through. Would of been realy good seeing performing in Arenas, even as a opener for Demi. Might be in minority but I would have enjoyed that. But makes more sense that he well be doing mid sized venues.

I found where i referred to a Hits interview....but so far I can't find it. lol Nov 9, 2015 at 11:04am Quote Edit Post Options Post by bamafan on Nov 9, 2015 at 11:04am We need several additions to the first page calendar list of events. Don't we have the dates for the Beijing and Shanghai shows...I think they are before the Japanese shows. Busy boy is busy! In that Hits interview, he mentioned he'd be singing a couple of songs he hasn't sung before on the TOH tour. I hope he means in addition to The Light and Lucy. Trying not go get my hopes up though because he might be thinking of those two. Read more: adamtopia.com/user/41/recent#ixzz3s0CJ0klE

I'm with you! Adam wants to play Arena, Alison's not going to help him do that and... it's not going to bring new fans. We don't know that Adam wants to play arenas -- all we know if that if he was on the Demi Tour he would be playing arenas. I am not expecting Adam do do a US arena tour -- that would be a big surprise. I am hoping for nice, mid-sized venues and a lot of cities in the US and Canada. With the way that many Adam fans go to multiple show, it can be advantageous to do the smaller (small to mid-sized) venues. There are many more smaller venues within a 4-5 hour drive from me than there are arenas. Since the cost is cheaper driving to near-by cities, I can attend more concerts at smaller venues than I could if I had to fly to go to arena shows. ETA - And smaller venues in more cities should pick up more casual fans. I know that I will not travel the 3-4 hours it would require to go to most pop arena concerts unless I am really into that artist. We do have an arena here, but mostly for sports. Only a very few artists, mostly country artists, could pull in enough fans to justify an arena show in my city. Maroon 5 is the only pop artists that I know of that has an upcoming show at our arena next September - their first time here. Even though I am not a big fan, I might just buy a cheap seat for that concert since I do not have to travel to go.

I found the interview. I had to turn off AdBlock to get it to work. It's in the first couple of minutes. " I'm in the process of putting together this tour...it's mostly around the new album...and of course I'll do some of the old favorites as well....I've got a couple of songs that nobody's ever heard me do live before...I know the fans are going to go crazy for that... www.tudou.com/programs/view/nQiv9fsfmho/

Advantageous for the traveling band fans and for the local existing fans who don't travel. Small venues with only AL or AL+minor opening act are not likely to attract people who are not already fans at some level. The economics of a small venue means he has to hit many times more venues to generate any significant return on investment. In other words while nice for existing fans, not worth much at all for exposure to new ears and really hard on the artist.

I will forever hold on to the seemingly hopeless hope that he'll do Pick U Up live someday. + RUNNIN! Totally. Ok, so, since we're all putting our never-been-done-live wish lists out there: Pick U Up Runnin' Soaked, with a full orchestra (I know he's done this song live before but never at the full instrumental power of the recorded track) Realistically though, I think Runnin' is the only one I'd put money on.
