the bars in LA close at 2am? wow, that's early. There are many, many private club that have no limit on hours -- just a small "membership" fee. These are underground clubs that frequently move. It's illegal to sell alcohol between 2:00 and 6:00 a.m. It's illegal to have it on a table in a hotel or restaurant after 2:00 a.m.

How cool Cassie.. will make sure to listen.. Loved listening to Saulis interview.. even if I can't understand it.. he sounds great.. ;D Hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Day It's so amazing to me that you, Cassie, who is so learned about music has chosen to help the very people who can't hear it.It makes me think of Beverly Sills, the opera singer, whose daughter was born deaf. I admire you so much for the work you do.. You give so much of yourself to others. I will try to catch the show.. so excited for your appearance on radio.

congrats cassie. i have no idea who angelina is. what station is she on. Sorry. Missing a bit of detail. Angelina Kalahari is the professional opera singer from England who is an uber Adam fan. She did an hour long program introducing Adam to the listening audience a month or two, and in subsequent programs, she has also featured him. She broadcasts a program about every two weeks. You can go here to listen to her first broadcast about Adam. soundbath.wordpress.com/2011/04/16/introducing-grammy-nominated-sonyrca-recording-artist-adam-lambert-on-uk-radio/If she follows the script she showed me, this program will also feature Adam, in the context of what a great communicator he is. (I pointed out to her his tweet about the best thing about being a singer is being able to communicate thoughts and emotions. And we chatted about his skills not only in performance, but in interviews -- that was not part of the script, but just came up naturally. Don't know if it will make the edit.) She is a very bubbly, positive person, and she has confessed to me that when the radio producers approached her about doing a program she agreed only if she could talk about Adam. She is determined to get him more of a following in England. I am hoping the program will be fun and interesting. It is broadcast on an online station. Go to www.mywordradio.com/ Tuesday at 5:30 PM eastern and click on the windows media player symbol on the right hand part of the page to listen. (Or I guess click on any symbol there to listen with the compatible program for your computer.)

Angelina is an opera singer from the UK who loves Adam. She has a radio program and often discusses him in the context of whatever she's talking about. So it's not one of those book women? No, it is not one of those book women.

Nooooooooo. She was interviewed on their show twice, so that may be what confuses you. She is a professional performer and delightful to talk to.

Join the club! I was not happy, at all, that my post here about the Idol Finale got tweeted all over the world! There is someone on FYE on LJ that is either a member here or lurks constantly. She keeps up to date with this board and constantly makes fun of us. We are "old ladies", "crays", "confused", etc. Posting on FYE is anonymous so she doesn't hold back. I have my hunches.
