Any Canucks getting this show? I get Bravo Canada but can't find this show... >:( MsZue - I checked our TV listings earlier tonight, and it wasn't listed on our Rogers Cable either...I decided it must be one of those "US only" shows. Thanks Marysue....sigh....so frustrating.... >:(

I thought so too, until I pulled out my Queen CD. Hadn't listened to it in quite some time. What a surprise I got. Adam, IMO, is much better than Freddie. Smile. Yeah, Adam will definitely do that to you. Odd, how he "made me feel like listening to music again," but, simultaneously, when I would listen, the stuff I used to thoroughly enjoy fell just a tad short. As for who is the "better" singer, first we would have to define "better." Technically, from a viewpoint of vocal production and versatility across genres, I don't think there is a male singer in the scene now or in the past thirty years, who can best Adam. I include Freddie when I say that, god that he is. I have listened to his voice on many different songs, including his foray into opera, and, technically, his voice doesn't match Adam's. (By technically, I am speaking of breathing and breath support, vocal timbre or tone, register shifts and blends, placement of his tone with ease rather than strain. articulation, legato lines, etc..) However, people have different preferences when it comes to style, interpretation, persona, clarity vs gruffness of tone, and types of registers used. They like different types of music. Their emotions are captured by different styles. Therefore, a person can think/feel that Johnny Cash's version of ROF is better than Adam's. Or Pink's version of WWFM is better than Adam's. Or Gaga is brilliant and edgy, or OTT and bizarre. When discussing what music and what performance inspires or moves you, all viewpoints are valid. Isn't it great that we never have to be limited to choosing just one artist or one type of music? Isn't it great that there is something for everyone? The thread is dead, so I'll just post my opinion. You said it perfectly cassie once again. And mys*&@^#r ITA. Adam's voice is much better than Freddie's. But I have to say this and please dont hate me, you all know HOW MUCH I love Adam and THE VOICE.I'm talking only about for the voice here. If I had to talk about the complete personality/charisma/voice HANDS DOWN is Adam.Freddie's voice combined with the AMAZING songs he sang is a lethal combination to me. I still sing and listen to all of them with the same passion I used to, 30 years ago. I have to pick Freddie. But this is for now. However it's not fair to Adam. How can we compare so many years and songs, with a singer with one record and a few covers? IMO all that Adam needs is some really good songs (please dont get me wrong again, I love FYE, but I think you get my point) and I'm convinced that he will be ICONIC. JMHO
