One of the tweets: "I want myself a Sauli." I believe Sauli and Adam are true soulmates...

Is this an attempt to make Sauli look tall? LOL This sounds like it was a great interview. Can't wait to see the translation.

I haven't read thru all of today's thread yet, but..... I have an announcement I am very excited about. Angelina's next program on the voice is going to be aired tomorrow, Tuesday at 10:30 PM UK time, that's 5:30 Eastern time and..... I AM FRICKIN' GONNA BE ON IT!!!!! Yup, me, cassie. We recorded a discussion a week ago and Angelina has edited it and included it as part of the program. (Nope, I haven't heard it yet. She says it is great.) Of course, no matter what we start talking about, we end up discussing Adam, so, if she goes with her original outline, she will end the program with examples of Adam as a great communicator/singer. If you are so inclined, please tune in. Here is the promo about it from the radio web site. Tune in to Angelina Kalahari’s SOUNDBATH programme on Tuesday, 31st May,when she talks to Christine Smith whose career spans over thirty years as a teacher of deaf children, a sign language interpreter, and a teacher of sign language. Angelina and Christine talk about the process of interpreting to facilitate communication between people who are deaf and people with normal hearing.Growing up in a musical family, Christine studied music theory, piano, violin and voice. But when it came time to choose a career, she realized that musical performance was not her niche and chose, instead, to dive into the world of alternate communication through the totally visual world of sign language. However, music has always remained her constant companion and refuge. Music and the visual language of signs…. two fascinating ways we communicate with those around us.Join Angelina here and participate with her at soundbath.wordpress.com OMG!!!! This is so exciting!!! Will it be recorded for those of us who might not be able to tune in?? There is a soundbath youtube channel, and Angelina usually posts her program there several days after it airs. Hope she will do that this time as well, as I'd like to be able to listen again (not that I am egotistical or anything, but I am gonna be squeeing at hearing myself talk the first time. And kicking myself if I sound like an idiot). Thanks for asking.

IMHO the fact that Adam's Russian fans have been emboldened enough to protest the homophobic attitude of the djs, etc. is incredible. This is Russia after all. Gay equality, often begins with a grass roots movement. Just look how Adam's American fans have rallied for equality.. We have called out homophobia where ever it rears it's ugly head. Looks like the Russian fans are beginning to do the same. Adam by being Adam helps to change attitudes wherever he goes. I agree that Adam helps to change attitudes --- be gay activists have been very active in Russia since the late 90's --- maybe even longer. But without a lot of coverage. I think Dan Choi help make this event more prominent. Adam by his existence makes it easy for people to be willing to speak out, in a non-political way to criticize DJ's and others who are ignorant, rude and even hateful. Real, lasting change required both social attitudes to change and political change.
