I know he completely separates them at the moment but do you suppose there will come a time [perhaps after /when Bri and Roger hang up their hats forever] that Adam would incorporate a "Queen" segment in his personal tours? Ever?

On Monday we were talking about the gay question, yet again, on the Good Morning Britain show. Then that evening I find myself watching Dancing with the Stars with Who is Fancy singing about boys and The Voice has Jeffrey Austin singing a Robyn love song and using the "he" pronoun. It's amazing how things have changed since Adam was on AI! In the pop song world, Adam really is a trailblazer and I am very proud of him. I guess he will always be asked that question because he is the first! I just don't remember there being that much of the gay thing when Boy George and Culture Club first came on the scene. I was young but I don't recall quite as much fuss about the 'gay thing.' Boy George was asked in many, many interviews but always gave joke answers early in his career. Same strategy as Freddie Mercury used. He was asked about it in 2011 -- and here is his response:

Ever? I think it makes sense that he will since he already has done "Dragon Attack" and continues to do AOBTD. **** Who knows where Adam will be and what he will be doing in 10 years. There are so many possible paths he could take. To me, that is part of the fun. But one thing is sure with this summer's festival dates, Adam has earned his own place as the frontman for Queen vs. a stand-in for Freddie. And that is a huge accomplishment.

(I hope everyone feels the same when Adam announces he is the opening act for some of Beiber's tour dates.)

I thought it was fascinating that he was in a relationship with his drummer... Right Said Fred came out straight away - where are they now? No loss...

You already got the best post of the day award so I'd like to add the funniest post of the day award to that. Your comment about the Mac make-up advisor plus the above one both made me laugh out loud. You're really on a roll today!

LOL. Tossing in a zinger and seeing who rises to the bait. Sorry, sorry. I'm reeling it back in now. ("Is it too late to say 'sorry'? cuz I'm missing more than your body") hey, no reason to apologize! it was an excellent, well executed zinger! after all we all know "Adam's carrier is HIS carrier", no one sane disputes that, and all the usual "I wish" statements are just that - the poster's wishes, no more...so, as far as I am concerned the "HIS career" discussion is actually superfluous by now... the same with "he needs new fans and thus needs to open for xxxxx insert "popular with teens but impossible to listen to" name "- going on for almost seven years now and I am sure will continue until Adam gets to the "top" (if ever)... Thank you for the laugh, brdgt!

I was young but I don't recall quite as much fuss about the 'gay thing.' Maybe Europe was different, but in North America -- even in the wild 70's and 80's -- homosexuality was still hush hush. "Polite people" did not discuss it and it would be an entertainment career death to say you were gay. In fact, it was still illegal in lots of places at that time!
