That's exactly what I was going to say -- Big YAY for Pentatonix!!! Thank you for voting. I was a bit worried with the whole America voting cause it didn't seem very fair -- Pentatonix only has 5 members and the Dartmouth Aires had 16 people to generate votes (and presumably a university behind them). So happy with the outcome and I'm going to buy all the Pentatonix i-tunes right now. So did I! They are really good! I want to see them live..... soon, I hope! |

Yes, I was pulling for Pentatonix too - Glad they won - Will be looking forward to next week's Christmas show.
Came to this thread thinking there would be talk about tonights X-Factor, but guess it is still early for some. Anyway - Spoiler alert - The Astro kid did some version of Black or White - But Melanie does knock it out of the park.
I'll check back in when more people have had a chance to see it - And see if you agree with me that Sasha is in the opening number and I think Chris Renee's number as well.

That was kind of ridiculous, wasn't it? Keeping Marcus and getting rid of Drew! Simon was pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What?!? Did Drew got eliminated? So wrong... Yes! It was bottom 3, for a double elimination, and Astro was eliminated immedtiately because he got the lowest votes. Then Marcus and Drew had to sing. All the judges but Simon voted to keep Marcus. I don't get it! I was really, really surprised that Paula didn't vote to keep Drew, because then the vote would have been 2 to 2. Then the lowest vote getter would have gone home and I am sure that had to have been Marcus. He was off key on Wed. and had been in the bottom 2 before. This was Drew's first time in the bottom. Simon was sooooo mad he wouldn't even make a comment to Steve Jones. That part was actually pretty funny! |

I was surprised too that Paula didn't make it a draw and let the vote be revealed. Seemed like a more fair way to me to eliminate someone. Maybe Paula was getting back at Simon. I would have picked Drew over Marcus. Do you think that Simon stole the idea of Drew on a chair under a spotlight from Adam? Only Adam knew when to stand up for some drama!!!

Nicole deserves all the hate she is now getting. Rachel clearly out sung Marcus in the sing off yet she voted for the guy who has been in the bottom 2, 3 times.

Okay, last time I thought the vote should be revealed and this time I was really surprised that Nicole did not keep Rachel. That kid did an amazing job on that song though I must admit I always find it a bit disconcerting when these shows have such young contestants singing songs with such mature themes. I really hope that Hollywood is interested in Rachel -- she has talent and poise way beyond her years.
