No way. He would be missing all the rehearsals.

Yeah, I know. I was kind of joking, although holding on to a very faint hope. But really, even though I would love to see him on X-Factor, I am glad he is in Finland with Sauli. I think he has his priorities right -- personal relationships first, career second -- because at the end of the day what makes you the happiest? Besides, maybe he wasn't even invited to perform on X-Factor.

He would have had plenty of time to get to Finland before Christmas after the show. I just think they booked other peole and the timing of the move up date, for the single, just coincided with XF. Making our, mostly my ;D, minds run wild with the idea.

This is funny! X Factor made Yahoo's 10 worst TV shows of 2011 at #3
(3) "The X Factor" Congratulations, Simon: Your new show makes "American Idol" look like a humble small-town talent show. From its magical-X-hurtling-through-outer-space opening to the bombastic opera music that introduces the contestants, "Factor" is ridiculously overblown to the power of ten. Unfortunately for you, Simon, all that grandiosity is masking the fact that you haven't found a single compelling talent this season that even comes close to meriting a $5 million recording contract. "Factor" is all sizzle, no steak. Oh, and you made a 13-year-old girl collapse in tears on national TV. Bravo

What an abysmal finale! Those duets just didn't work. Melanie's was the closest to being okay but LA Reid had the nerve to say she had been overshadowed by the celebrity she was singing with who I had never heard of. I thought Chris Renee was appalling and was totally outsung by Averil Lavigne. I threw a few votes Josh and Melanie's way as it seemed the judges had already decided that Chris was the winner.

I know! When I heard about the duets, I was thinking, "WTF! On a night that has 5 million riding on it, they have to do duets?!" Why not have each contestant sing 3 songs instead?!!! Chris can only sing one song good, his "Homie" song. He was so bad last night! I think Melanie is going to win. I hope it is either Josh or Melanie. I would prefer Josh. He's worked at his music a long time for this.

I like Josh too, but I am not mad that Melanie won. I like her voice.

Melanie is an amazing singer. But the best part of the Finale, for me, was the IDOL commercials!! Jan. 18th!! ;D

Well Melanie definitely can sing, but does she have the x factor??? And how does she fit in today's pop scene. I wish her luck, but I won't be following her career very closely. Good thing too, as I hardly have enough time to keep up with all things Adam.
