It is NOT weird! That is yesterday morning's Building chart. Monday's is not up yet! Pretty sure it updates automatically & with the time change (that they never changed) 6 a.m. is now 7 a.m. Don't ever check it before about 7:15 a.m. Pacific time Why does it say Nov 30th 6:00 AM? ETA Checked it again - same date and time but chart was updated. no longer weird but I still am. WWD (wild woman disclaimer) - you might not want to listen to anything I say till the cloud goes away |

I just watched the video. Awful, for me! he is The Weeknd taken more Rhythmic to the Nth degree. |

She's right though. ALN was nowhere on iTunes in the UK. Maybe the wrong stations played or something, but it was nowhere to be seen. The UK fans puzzle me sometimes as well though. They wait for impact date to stream or buy. That seems not the best strategy to me. You have to stream from the moment it get's on the radio so that it makes impact or else the impact date is useless. ALN did make impact here in the Netherlands, but it was to little. I'm still wondering what would have happened if we weren't encouraged to buy the album or when they would have made ALN available as a new single in iTunes. We fans couldn't do a thing on iTunes to make impact when the single was released because we all had bought ALN already. I see a lot of other artists where a new single comes out they get to #1 just by fans. For ALN that could have meant in the Netherlands that we could have pushed it into top 30 and then Q-music would have had to play it in their chart on Friday and maybe they would have added it to their playlist. Now they waited to see if the song would have an impact and apparently it didn't have enough impact for them so they hardly played it (1x in a hot or not contest where it just got made hot and then 2x more by the same DJ). Also the program Adam was on here in the Netherlands (Kun je het al zien!) had about 0 impact (or at least not a very visible one). Not the target audience and not the right program. The interview with RTL Boulevard had more impact than his performance. I wonder what his appearance on the Voice in December will do. GT dropped out of the top 100 now in Spotify and also in iTunes. Funny thing is ALN is still in the top 100 Shazam on #88 today (from #83). Even though it was hardly played so it's still making a bit of impact. |

I assume we need to be prepared for a slowdown until Christmas is over? I know Mediabase has a couple of weeks where recurrents aren't removed etc. And radio is starting to play a lot of holiday music  . I know I'm a grinch but I'm already tired of Santa and sleigh bells and reindeer... |

I know Mediabase has a couple of weeks where recurrents aren't removed etc. And radio is starting to play a lot of holiday music . I know I'm a grinch but I'm already tired of Santa and sleigh bells and reindeer... Not a Grinch! I HATE Christmas music with a passion! But I love Christmas. Go figure! |
