Yep, this guy is smitten. I am very familiar with and easily recognize (and identify with!) the signs of Adam smittendom. that's some serious going on there. tooo cute Adam said sort of under his breath--"the other Adam, and he's the one you ladies should pay attention to."

Looking at the possible set list for tonight, and thinking about IIHY, reggae style, a lightbulb went off. What is the purpose of an encore? Why do they exist? Why do we EXPECT them? It's part of a formula for a concert, right? But, choosing what songs to include in the encore is a bit of an art, and is sometimes very crafty. Usually the concert ends on a very high note, lots of energy, and perhaps one of the singer's/band/s greatest hits. You want the entire audience to be whooping and hollering and yearning for just one more song. But, which song? It depends on how you want to control the crowd when the show is over. If you wind them up too tight, you run the risk of them getting rowdy and out of control upon exiting. So, one strategy is to leave them wanting more at the end of the set, and then, after giving them more, calming them down and cooling them off. Leaving them feeling happy and content and peaceful. I wonder if that is not the plan for IIHY. Familiar song. Done reggae, which is one of the most happy sounding styles. Upbeat but not driving. A laid back, kick your shoes off and drink a margarita vibe. No worries, be happy. This might be particularly important if Adam is not closing the show or if he is doing a short set. He doesn't want to leave the audience in an agitated state, or clamoring for more. It's a matter of pacing. Or, maybe I am overthinking? I think your musings might be true for a wildly-popular heavy metal band with an audience of drug-fueled heavy drinking skinheads. I'm trying to imagine a crowd of middle-aged Glamberts leaving a concert in a state of rowdiness and being out of control and agitated. What would they do? Trash the lobby? Throw rocks at windows in the street? Fling beer bottles? Set fire to things? Start punching each other out? Nah, I think they'd just have a glass of wine and bitch and complain on twitter. That would be the extent of their "cooling off."

Also, in other morning musings, I admit to a deep curiosity as to what Adam has planned for the blackened out infinity sign area. I don't think he will leave it like that, and I bet he had plans for that area when he blacked it out. Apparently the white ink on black ink tattoo is currently in vogue: And I think that possibly he might be thinking of a new infinity sign using this method. I'm just not sure how they would deal with the black overage (outside the lines of the previous tat). Maybe fill it in with small flourishes? I haven't given up on the infinity sign, I still think that is his philosophy and approach. Imo. Plus it looks to me like the white on black would blend well with his existing tattoos. I read somewhere - Atop a few days back perhaps - that the infinity tattoo has not been blacked out. There has been the addition of a lot of plant-like fill around it, and it makes the area very dark, which does not photograph well. No idea if that is accurate, just something I read. peace&love I had a meet and greet with Adam in Vegas and after we had our pictures taken, my friend had some new tattoos she wanted him to see. So after we looked at hers, we asked him about his new tattoos and we specifically said to him that we heard he had blacked out the infinity tat. He turned his wrist to show it to us, and yes, its completely blacked out. He said that he never really liked it, it wasn't done well and the lines on the tat were off. I then asked him what was he going to put there now. He turned to me, laughed, and he said, well, I can't put anything there now, can I? We all laughed and that was it. So either he is really not doing anything with the area as he said or he doesn't know at this time if maybe he will decide later to do something with the area. But I agree, seeing it up close, it doesn't look that great. Just a blacked out area on his wrist amongst the rest of his tats.
