I am looking forward to the day when appreciation of Adam's work will no longer need to be accompanied by words like "most underrated", "criminally overlooked" and such... getting impatient too... like some kinda spell where everyone who understands anything in music is on board and yet ... I hope we get to that day - someday. The 'not cool from a reality show OTT glam gay boy' stigma is tough to overcome with the general masses. IMO

Great news from the Netherlands! Ghost Town made it into the Top 2000 on #1905! It will be played on Christmas day (25th) between 4 and 5 pm so not that great of a spot, but still during the day. It's his first ever occurrence in this end of year chart that is part of the end of year celebrations here in the Netherlands. They play all 2000 songs from the 25th of December until December 31st midnight on Radio 2 with millions of listeners. WWFM never made it onto this chart although it's in other end of year lists. See also: www.nporadio2.nl/song/45811/ghost-townTranslation: With 'Ghost Town' Adam Lambert emerges in 2015 on the Dutch charts. After the huge success of his debut single Whataya Want From Me, it remained silent for a while around the singer. Partly because of leaving his record label RCA in 2013. The success of 'Ghost Town' is not completely out of the blue. Among other producer Max Martin collaborated on the track. He is the man who wrote hits for the Backstreet Boys, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.Hi everyone. I've lurked for the last few years and was finally drawn into posting by curiosity. I remember all the posts about how popular GT was in the Netherlands so was really surprised it was 1905th - was that just 2015 or ever? I know I'm missing something - sorry for the trouble! (I hope this is readable)

The entire seventeenth edition of the Top 2000 published and put online. On Friday, December 25th starting at 9:00 pm The Seventeenth Summit 2000. With 187 new arrivals, 15 re-entries and a new number one, John Lennon's "Imagine", this will be a Summit in 2000 to remember." list: www.nporadio2.nl/top2000
