EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENT ALERT
Unfortunately dear daughter Number 1 is under the weather and unable to attend tomorrow night's concert with us in Independence, MO. It would make me so happy to give this ticket to an Atopper that would not otherwise get to go. FLRB, Row 12, Seat 11 is FREE to someone wanting to share in the light and love that is Adam Lambert!

Interesting. First, that Adam chose to comment. (he has to be aware of all the comparisons to him.) Secondly, that he commented on the arrangement and the musicality. But not the voice. Am I wrong to read into the ommission? Yes, I think you are wrong to read anything into it. Adam rarely tweets about vocals and he complimented his musicality. I agree with him about the arrangement -- it was very nice. Lots of times on STL the choir overpowers the soloist and in this case that did not happen. Most interesting to me that he chose to answer this question. LOL.. I think only Adam fans (well maybe Adele's fans too  ) who pay attention to vocals. I tend to like big vocal, but I also can listen to others who doesn't have big vocal, as long as it doesn't irritate my nerves {whispering "like A. Levine's voice in his latest songs}. And talking about vocal, I was listening to radio on the way home tonight. They play Stitches by Shawn Mendez. First time I heard him and I like his voice and his song. They also played Kelly Clarkson "O Holly Night".. OMG.. she sang that whole song acappella. She's amazing and I love her arrangement. |
