The peculiar spelling is Latvian. Men get -s (or I seem to remember that sometimes it's -is ending) and women get -a. So Adam's surname is 'Lamberts' and I presume his mother would be 'Lamberta'. Many other languages spell names differently, even with a mostly similar set of characters - and it's inevitable when the set of charcters is different. In this case I believe it's mainly due to feminine/masculine distinction.

The poster is for the concert in Estonia though. The distance between the respective capitals for Estonia and Latvia is 300 kms and the border is somewhere in the middle. So, wisely, they advertize the concert in Latvia too.

ETA THe poster where this comes from... IDK who took the pic anymore as it's been posted on twitter by several persons

IDK Polish but it is a Slavic language and most of those if not all have Declensions. Confuses the hell out of folks whose native language doesn't have those...
