That seemed like a really amazing show. Can't wait for the videos. You know, I can angst with the best of them, and sometimes the board gets me down for one reason or another. But when I see and feel a performance like that one, it is all magic and rainbows and happiness and contentment and wonder again. I want to remember that the core is his voice. And the surrounding shell is very nice. Well,... shorter shirts, please. But I really think he has got this covered. (hahah, just related this to the last sentence and made myself laugh) I think we all just want so much for him, feel he deserves so much. But he is such a phenomenal talent, that light has to shine. He may never be a superstar, in that sense of the word, but I will be a #fanforlife. And I hope he achieves whatever level of industry success he craves. But he is already a success for me.

i don't know if they do improvs in high notes, but I love jazz and jazz musicians do a lot of amazing improvisations. That's one of the reason i love Adam, coz his improvs a bit jazzy/bluesy. The old divas, Aretha, Celine, and Mariah ones i can remember. Here's one of my favorite performance of these divas. Thanks for posting that, adamee. That is one whole hunk of star power on that stage! And Aretha brings me to my knees, both vocally and because she was such a huge part of the soundtrack of my life. Plus that song. That song, talk about feels... I don't know much about jazz, but I do think I understand that there is a lot of improvisation with the instruments and the vocals. Is it like Adam does, sort of singing back and forth with an instrument? Like Adam's voice is one voice, and the instrument is another voice. I think I am explaining this poorly, but what I mean is that it is different, to me, than vocal improvisations on their own. It is more of a duet almost, between the instrument and the voice. I was especially amazed at Brian's ability to replicate Adam's tone, then take the sound somewhere else, and Adam would follow and respond vocally. Gah. I am going to have to take some music classes, there is so much I struggle to understand. .. I usually don't try to understand.. I enjoy it. I enjoy the grove. I enjoy when Adam's jammin with the band, it's impromptu. I love jazz (not an expert, just love it). In jazz music, they do a lot of impromptu, spontaneous things, jammin, musically and vocally. Yes, vocally they respond to the music/band and improvise it. Spontaneously create something beautiful that when I close my eyes.. makes me want to scream coz it's so beautiful, LOL.. that how I feel when I listen to Jazz. That's why when I saw/heard Adam's improvisation on "Crazy" video.. I was in AWW. Don't think many people in Pop music does it, some R&B singers maybe. In QAL show, they started jammin when Adam did sing along.. then Roger joined in following Adam's lead with his drum and then Neil and Spike joined in... then Brian. The music they play on sing along different every night.

Well i know lots of you disagree but i really like...even prefer...this reggae version of IIHY...it is so uplifting... I stood up in my headphones and bopped along to it. Refresh my memory, wasn't IIHY the song he did the band/dancer intros too during GNT tour too? I always thought then that it was a way to break up the current single live so that the best version was the radio/album one but it seems he's adopted it permanently as his "play with it" song. I wasn't overly enthused about it back then so not a big deal one way or the other if he changes it up to me but I think it's got a great message lyrically.

Asking this seriously, is there anyone else who improvs like this boy does with the instruments? Lucky people at this concert, He killed it on IIHY. I truly don't think I have seen any performer do that. It is amazing. I could watch an entire concert of that. i don't know if they do improvs in high notes, but I love jazz and jazz musicians do a lot of amazing improvisations. That's one of the reason i love Adam, coz his improvs a bit jazzy/bluesy. The old divas, Aretha, Celine, and Mariah ones i can remember. Here's one of my favorite performance of these divas. SANG! ! ! that is awesome.

Yep.. plus this time it gives him a chance to show off the skills of his new band.. and I think I heard him pronounce some words the way Jamaican did... LOL

Haha I agree... Why is this "band intro" taking so long? Because he's enjoying the jam with his band.. someone posted on periscope, reggae music remind him of his youth with his family by the pool Sorry you guys. You had to be there. It was amazing and we all loved every minute of it. The joy with each member of the band, playing and laughing and interacting. Nothing slow or long about it - just a great jam. What a show. Every act was terrific. Pentatonix in person! Amazing. Would love this line up every show. Adam was totally natural in every way. Full of joy, fantastic vocals and dancy dancy dancy. Wow. So glad to be there.
