LOL! one of these days we are going to learn to ask and / or disclose what app we are on first, at least the symbol is the same. Drives me crazy that everything is in a different place on each device.

Thank you Belle for clarification. I remember that some time ago I ask the same question from my Polish friends, at the time Adam's name was written "Adamem Lambertem". YW! That Latvian case was about names in general, in their basic form the gender needs to be specified. (If you apply for a visa they write your name with the gender add-on, not the way it's on the passport.) However, The Polish case was about a sentence - very much like we do it in Finnish. We write names as they are but when used in a sentence it's a different matter. Compare: 'Adam esiintyy Helsingissä' (Adam performs in Helsinki) where 'Adam' is a subject and 'Haastattelija antoi mikin Adamille' (The interviewer passed the mic to Adam) where Adam is an object and thus 'Adamille'. (The same thing happens with 'Helsinki' > 'Helsingissä', lol.) Lots of nuances and differences in languages I have an eagle eye for typos (admitting it works best on other people's texts) and have been waiting for the Swedish venue of TOH tour to be corrected (from Fryhuset to Fryshuset) and chuckling the QAL misspell of Helsinki venue (Kaissaniemi Park > Kaisaniemi Park, a translation already, being 'Kaisaniemen puisto' in Finnish) as well as the twitter folks mocking the Latvian spelling. Most of times it's just a typo which doesn't have much effect. But if foreign people are going to the Swedish TOH venue it might make a difference as I'm quite sure a taxi driver will have a hard time understanding as 'fryhuset' ressembles 'fruhuset' when pronounced without the 's' (and then it's something like 'woman house' > house for women which might or might not be a place to go for a concert...) BTW I don't know the history of the Swedish venue but 'frys' means fridge (cold) and 'huset' is house >>> that gives something like 'refrigerated storage space'. I hope it's remodeled and doesn't remind him of the slaughterhouse venue of GNT.

www.realtytoday.com/articles/62997/20151216/winners-life-american-idol.htmAdam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson: Winners' Life After American Idol "Known for his rock star look, Adam Lambert has his own way of showing off his strength and talent in singing. His renditions of "Cryin'," "Tracks Of My Tears," "Mad World" and "Bohemian Rhapsody," among others, from his audition down to his last performance are a living proof that he, indeed, is a versatile singer. His overall package as a performer and his peculiar charm when he belts out the high notes on stage attracted big time producers and managers in the industry which definitely served as a big break for him despite his lost to Kris Allen in the "American Idol" Season 8. His challenging journey in "American Idol" back in 2009 has brought him to ultimate stardom the following year onwards as he topped in the album charts in 2012. He also had guestings on television series like "Pretty Little Liars" and in the hit musical series "Glee." Leaving a popular mark on the show that showcased his singing prowess and gave birth to his prestigious career, Lambert has been joining "American Idol" as a special guest performer in a couple of "American Idol" seasons. The contestants and aspiring Idols were lucky enough to be imparted strategies and singing principles from no less than the Season 8 runner up when Lambert joined the show as a coach and a mentor during the 9th and 13th season of "American Idol." Rumor has it that Lambert might take over Randy Jackson and be one of the judges come "American Idol" Season 15. But, his fun tours this 2015 made his schedule hectic that he may not make it to the next AI season."
What the heck is this sentence? Good grief.

Last weekend there was some change on this board and now I see the embedded tweets vertically elongated which causes a lot more scrolling than before. If there's a pic first its proportions may be distorted but even if not there's always about 25 cm blank space before the tweet text appears. Also if it's a video, normally about 5-7 cm high, it's now 30 cm (and then the huge blank space before the text). Also some pics get cut off from the left but I can click and see them, so no big problem there. Only the elongation is very annoying and a new feature. Is there any hope that'll go away?
I'm on PC laptop and Chrome - and I finally turned adblock off from this site. Still some posts that presumably have something embedded are blank, not many but one or two a day - even when I wait for the loading.
I know it is what it is (meaning computer stuff evolving and users desperately trying to keep up) but I'm asking out of curiosity if others experience the same and if there's a trick that helps.
