Adamrocks, Bamafan, Are ya'll meeting up somewhere before ir after the show? Theosgma & I are sitting in The JewelBox botanical hothouse in Forest Park at the moment. This is such a beautiful city. There is a gorgeous bar -- lots of comfy chairs and sofas -- at Union Station (which is now a Doubletree Hotel) and they have a laser light show on the Beaux Arts ceiling at 11PM -- it is about 5 blocks from the venue. That sounds great. Know anything about parking for the concert? The JewelBox closes at 4 pm, so we are looking for some place to hang out for a bit till show time.

There is a lot of parking near the venue -- all round it. Just drive along Market Street and you should be able to park across the street, down the block or around the corner. ETA: There are not a lot of places to eat right near the venue so you may want to stop someplace on the way there -- or you can park and walk about 8 blocks or so.

Bamafan...the Francis Howell High girls chorus won the St. Louis competition and will be singing tonight. LOL! I can't remember if they were one that we picked. I believe this was the second YouTube listed... And the one I voted for... I thought the arrangement was magnificent and the vocals...beautiful. How exciting for them. I wish them every success tonight. This should be a wonderful evening of masterful vocals.

Not a criticism of you, ladymaserati, but this video really pisses me off. It is ADAM LAMBERT singing the song, just electronically pitched down a bit. When this came out months ago, I commented on the video that it was NOT Jensen Ackles singing, despite all the Jensen fans going crazy for it. I see now that comments have been disabled. I guess the person who posted it does not want Adam to get the credit? Now I remember. I've seen the video once before. I sent it here and I think you said the same thing then. Now, when I saw the video again, I got the feeling that there is something to this video, what is not to like, or something like that. So, to check what this was, I sent it here again. I'm sorry cassie, I upset you with this, but sometimes I do not remember things I already sent here. It's not my intention to send things that are not pleasant or upsetting.

I wish I could meet everyone but I have been running around all day with appointments and I am the driver for my group tonight picking up in rush hour traffic people who live in different areas of St. Louis so we'll be lucky to get there before it starts!lol We probably won't eat until after the show but I don't know everyone's schedule I'm bringing and if they need to get home and can't eat after or not. I wish I could tell you about places to hang out at before the show but I don't get downtown much and I am not familiar with the Peabody area. Union Station is a nice area with lots of shops and eating areas if you want to pass some time there. I just called the Peabody Opera House and they told me parking is about a block/block and a half away at the Keil Garage which is by the Scotts Trade Center. I hope that's helpful. I have no idea of the area myself.

Interesting. First, that Adam chose to comment. (he has to be aware of all the comparisons to him.) Secondly, that he commented on the arrangement and the musicality. But not the voice. Am I wrong to read into the ommission? Yes, I think you are wrong to read anything into it. Adam rarely tweets about vocals and he complimented his musicality. I agree with him about the arrangement -- it was very nice. Lots of times on STL the choir overpowers the soloist and in this case that did not happen. Most interesting to me that he chose to answer this question. Adam is such a classy person, so JMO it's always refreshing and nice the way Adam does compliment other artists.
