I agree with you on this. We saw RP right before Adam in NYC and she was lovely. Beautiful voice, charismatic and very attractive. Also they are close in age and, as someone said before, have had similar struggles in being heard on radio. I don't know if it would ever happen but I think the idea of them co headlining could be a good one. I'm sure they've met since she's done a few of the same gigs as Adam. Yes, I was at the NYC show and was so glad for her when she told her story. She said she was moving to LA the next day. Her duet with Great Big World was really beautiful. I love Fight Song, the first time i heard in on dutch radio, i was glued to the radio, it is such a powerful song and it eeally gives you a boost when you are down or having a rough time.

My niece and her Australian husband (John) are here from Sydney to spend the holidays. John was gushing about Adam during dinner and showed me all the Adam downloads on his phone. His favorite is Ghost Town and has watched all his TV appearances in OZ. I encourage them to see Adam's TOH tour. They are both around 35 yrs old. Needless to say I am a very happy aunt. Just some random notes: - We had a blast at the Phoenix show. Sat with two sets of gay couples and they absolutely loved the show. I danced with one of the guys the whole night. I felt embarrassed because he knew all the words to all the songs and I didn't. I told them about Adamtopia and one of them bookmarked it on his phone. So if you are lurking here, HI - I am the one from CA with my son and friends. - My girlfriend and DH also had a blast. In her husband's words - "his voice is like butter". Her words, "MY God, he is gorgeous!" - Thank you to all those who expressed concern about my son's friends who were on lockdown during the San Bernardino attack. The Lighthouse is finally open but there is still some media milling around. And some students still need grief counseling. My son said that Adam saved his life because if it were not for our trip to Phoenix to see Adam, he would have been there. - The Phoenix show is on the top of my list of all the concerts I have been to. He was so loose and dancy. I loved the rotating stage so he was never that far away. - Loved seeing so many Atopers, meeting some for the first time. Hope to see you again in 2016.

Damn, I hate that term "Gl***** C**". It's use was meant to insult and then sit back and laugh at the resulting furor. I would go the rest of my life and be happy to never see it again. I'm pretty sure a lot of younger fans hate the term as well.

If ever there was a song tailor-made for the "Glitter cow" demographic, it is Trespassing. That is what we are often made to feel we are doing by younger or contrary fans and Adam is aware of that, I am sure. Thank goodness the pressures do not come from Adam, and the pressures have diminished a lot, from the outside. Now we just have to eliminate them from the fandom itself and it will all be good..... Adam always said people can interpret his song anyway it's apply to their own personal life experiences. I guess that's the beauty of arts, books and musics. If it's how you interpret Trespassing than it is. Though I think that's not what in Adam's and Pharrell Williams' mind when they wrote this song together . In the video The maki ng of Trespassing, Adam said he came up to a "No Trespassing" one day and his reaction was 'Yeah i'm not going to follow the rule". I think Adam and Pharrell were thinking more about a lot of things that they both have in common and they're fighting about in their life or career or the way music industry treated some people. ITA...did not say and never thought that meaning came from Adam...just that it easily applied to the GC demo and criticism, as well.....

Shine when you want to shine. Also, as a bonus, Adam shines pretty brightly with the moves that start at ~1:08. In my opinion. Check out his moves start at 3:45 to 3:50. Very sexy. You're welcome.. LOL

Totally OTT but I just got out of a late shower and it is SNOWING...huge flakes turning the orchard into a snow globe. I live in temperate rainforest and we have not seen snow here, at all, for3 or 4 years....and my daughter in Ottawa which has massive snow by now as a rule...is green....
SIGH The world is upside down....
Love the white but driving on this stuff is like trying to drive on cold vaseline...guess I have no option but make another cup of coffee and settle in at Atop...hmmm

palate cleanser See I don't see this picture as sexy. I know i'm weird. I see Adam's full blown sexy during the GMA with that red shirt and leather pants. Or the picture of him in white shirt in the tub.. that's very sexy to me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=n46pzVaSlms

I'm curious to hear from the people who attended the concert if they noticed many people leaving after Ptx and before Adam's set. I wanted to see the Ptx fans reactions to Adam, so checked out some of their tweets. I assumed that Ptx fans were fans of great voices, so I was surprised that many of the twitter feeds (about 12) that I checked out randomly didn't mention Adam's performance or vocals at all, and some were tweeting about going out during Adam's set to see Ptx at the barriers.. they were signing autographs at the time. They seem to be really passionate fans, but judging from my informal survey, I'm not sure how advantageous this pairing would be for Adam if they were to tour together.. referring to earlier convo about this. Adam sounded really great on periscope. Thanks for the streams! I don't know nuthin' 'bout Adam gaining new fans from the pairing with PTX. However, IMO, Adam's vocals were the best of any gig on this radio promo tour so far. Could he have been inspired by the vocal talents of PTX? Or a little competitive? If PTX was the reason for Adam's even more extraordinary than usual vocals, I vote for them to open for him for every performance. Cassie, I believe it was a combination of factors. 1. The audience. They were here to listen to Adam. 2. The venue. It was built as a movie theater but a very elegant one. No opera boxes. Very open, high domed ceiling. 3. The sound was pristine for Adam. 4. Pentatonix set a high vocal bar. The total was the best Adam ever.

Upstate NY, last year got worst snow storm ever, 11inches i think. This year, they're still on their 50-60'.

Often it's the bits not caught in the videos that give context and a rounded impression. Thank you for your comments and recaps.
