I'm surprised at how much I'm getting a kick at these comments. "Well of course the shirt looks expensive, its Alexander McQueen!!"  I think that comment was from our own Mys*&@^#r, lol. Some pretty good comments from non- fans who are there for the fashion not Adam. I had to laugh at the widespread hate for the hair, though. Dont' they know to be thrilled that he didn't shave part of his head? Or grow odd facial hair?  Yes, it is! I couldn't let comments about the grey hair go unchallenged! ;D |

But someone would still have to type all those names and addresses into the computer. Right? Probably just as fast to hand write it. Also, you save your list of friends for your Christmas cards. There is really no reason to save these. They probably have some intern doing this. It completely makes sense to me. :-/ Um... no... We ALL typed in our names/addresses for them already when we donated to Charity Water. Certainly, Charity Water would be able to give them that list in SOME electronic format - even if just a text file. Worst case, someone would have to cut/paste the info to the labels (still MUCH faster than hand writing). Best case, it is in a format that could be mail-merged and the whole list could be printed out in minutes. The ONLY reason I can think of to hand address is the somewhat old-fashioned belief that things like thank-you notes, birthday cards & christmas cards should all be hand addressed. My Grandmother (103 in 2 months!) believes this and is always a little unhappy with me for using mailing labels on my Christmas cards! I have tried to convince her that labels are better than no cards at all, or christmas cards in March  so far, she still stubornly insists they should be hand written. You could be right about the sentiment of handwritten thank yous, but unless Adam writes them, who cares? All of my kids can keyboard faster than I can write or keyboard for that matter. It took them more time to argue over who had to do the typing than to actually do the typing. |

In this clip, when Kris sings I can literally feel the tension in his body and in his voice. My throat is straining with him to hit those notes. Then, when Adam starts to sing, I can feel my body just relax. His voice feels so effortless and in control. Can you hear it, too? Can you feel it? Thanks for the explanation. I couldn't figure out why I felt so uncomfortable when watching that clip, but after reading this it clicked and I understood. Do you think Kris was feeling nervous or was the tension only from the strain to reach the notes? About Sauli going to London. I was laughing and remembering the first year me and my hubby were together. He was traveling for a month around Europe. He had only been traveling about a week and he calls me and is totally miserable. Two days later I was on a plane to Italy. ;D I have been going trough all news really fast because I'm so behind after my week away. I have a question what is the guess right now who Adam is working with in London? And what about the naming of the second album? Did I miss the voting? |

"Ivan Ivanov, 9 years old, competed in an International pop-rock singing competition at Dobritch, Bulgaria on 05-12-2011. I couldn't confirm but according to comments on YouTube, Ivan won the competition.
Adam acknowledged Ivan's insane vocal and performance skills on Twitter by tweeting, "Yeah Ivan!!! You rock buddy!!"
I played the videos of Adam and Ivan singing "Sleepwalker" side by side and was amazed at how close the lyrics are in sync with each other. Adam throws in more rifts at the end of the song, so that was the main difference, but they ended up singing the end note together."

Can anyone summarize this video? It has been removed by the user. Looks like it might have been the interview we heard about where the guy and gal from radio went to his trailer. Late to comment, sorry. We have talked before about how Adam connects with people and seems to be giving them his total, concentrated attention. Watching this video, he does it frequently even when they are speaking a language he doesn't understand. He still looks totally engaged. No wonder he charms them all. |
