but that's saying he can't do it on his own, which with the right song he totally can IMO. WWFM and IIHY could have been played and weren't. IIHY was not even added. so you believe that Adam will never get played without the help of a more established and bigger artist... I'm gonna believe that he can and he will with the right songs.

Nothing to contribute - so feel free to scroll on by! Boy - I am of two minds here. In more than two ways.
I would love to hear Adam with Eminem; but, really, I can hardly think of another collaboration that would blow me away. I prefer just Adam. I don't need anything, or anyone else.
To quote Cassie, ". . . we are gathered here because we all resonate to Adam's singing voice". Oh, you are so right!
It is like the address on the envelope. There is so much more inside.
Through Adam I'm learning to stop questioning - and just do it.
At 3AM last Saturday morning, only the light of this little computer bathed me. I was in the dark, defined only by the small light from the screen as I searched the 'Moscow thread'. My past experience shows not much has awakened me at 3AM; other than sex, a trip involving an early plane flight, an eclipse, snow falling in the middle of the night, or a baby's birth. My husband found me, and put a blanket over my shoulders to keep me warm. And loved.
I've changed. I'm here because I feel I'm amongst people who have also felt a transformation at their very core. Hearing Adam's voice - the clear, gorgeous plea, the joy, the anger, the honesty, the playfulness, the eros - implores me to try to create a song in my life that can be that genuine.
Thank you to all Topians who can do the math. Because, when it comes to Adam I can't compute. Is it strange to feel such friendship on a fan site?
I'm hoping that he and Sauli are "intertwined, quiet"; together in London. Just as I hope my own children are embraced, tonight, by those they love.
See, I really have nothing to say. Just have something to feel. I'm so grateful to have this place; learn about all of you I may never meet - as soulmates (we should all be lucky to have a seoulmate!) who share the fascination "that turned to love".

OT Looks like Kelly's cross over to Country music. Her manager's Reba's husband. However, looks like more idol coss over to country, Archie and Kris . Read in MJs that Archie and Kris're coming to Nashville for some writing sessions. Maybe AI should change it's name next year to Country Idol.. Narvel, Reba's husband, has been Kelly's manager since 2007 and she recorded and released All I Ever Wanted in 2009 so his management isn't an indicator of her musical direction. Kelly has been clear that she's not "going country". Right now she is featured on a duet with Jason Aldean (she also did a duet of Because of You with Reba back in 07 that went #2 on country radio) but her next album will be pop, just like the four before it were. Also going to Nashville to write doesn't = going country. There are a lot of brilliant songwriters who are based out of nashville who don't necessarily write Country music.

Just last week a group of friends got together over Chinese food. I was rolling my eyes in pleasure for my entree and one asked to taste it. He took one bite and shrugged his shoulders. Said something about it having a burned taste. To me, it has a smokey flavor that I love. Ever have the experience of trying a cologne in the store and thinking it was lovely, only to spray some on your friend's wrist and they wrinkle their nose with disgust? You probably see where I am going with this. Taste in food, in fragrance, and in music is individual and personal. It is shaped by our environment and culture, by our exposure to variety or lack thereof, and probably by biological differences. Just like some people's taste buds perceive certain tastes differently from others, I believe that some people's ears hear sound differently from others, and some people's bodies naturally resonate at different frequencies. I suspect that not only do our musical tastes get shaped by what we hear as we mature, but our minds and bodies get "tuned" to the music we are exposed to most often. Subsequently, our bodies and minds resonate to different sounds. All music has its own intrinsic value regardless of complexity, popularity, dance-ability, harmonies, rhythms or origins. I can acknowledge that intellectually, while still having strong preferences for what is "good" music or "good" singing. As I have said before, we are gathered here because we all resonate to Adam's singing voice. But, WHAT we want him to sing varies as much as our age, hair color, favorite perfume, and favorite Chinese dish. Let's read each others posts thru that perspective. And, I promise, if you label my favorite music as "crap" or "out of date" I will smile, nod, and scroll on. "Tut, tut, bless her heart. She just doesn't know any better." Cassie - I played HeWhoCannot amedet from 4th grade until after High School - in concert/symphonic band, jazz band & marching band! The way a song "sounds" to me is more important than the lyrics! Adam's musical instrument is his voice!!! In Adam's case, I hear his voice, and the "music" is playing in the background, punctuating what is an already perfect sound! Hope I'm making sense here! :-/
