I am starting to think that this new album will not be what we expect at all. Just a guess -- but Adam is doing what he wants and what he thinks will sell. But it will be very different than FYE.

IMO when I listened to that interview the context was that he wanted 5 more radio ready hits rather than 5 more WWFM carbon copies. |

RITD is an exceptional song. Pretty much everything about it is perfection. Adele gives hope to every good singer, performer, artist out there. However, the other songs I highlighted are no better than IIHY. And a few are worse. Just my opinion. The reason everyone loves CA Gurls, Teenage Dream, etc is because they hear it every 40 minutes on KIIS! It's kind of hard for IIHY to "catch on" if it never got played or added. And I love FYE, the album. It got good reviews from most music critics, so I don't think I am unduly biased. Out of 18 songs, there are only 2 I consistently skip. There are 5 that I repeat every time I listen. Still not tired of it after almost 2 years.  |

Smokeyvera, I interpreted his comment differently than you. When he said 5 WWFMs he meant 5 platinum sellers. Not 5 songs similar to WWFM. |

LOL, the lyrics of RITD are pretty damn angsty IMO. Adele's whole album is one big angst-fest, which is partly why I adore it. That and her voice and the emotion she conveys. I actually can imagine Adam going the direction of 21 on this next album, with all the emotion and emphasis on voice and melody, but less angsty. |

This off the current topic. To those who didn't get their Charity Water Photo - Lane said on Adam's site several months ago, that many names and addresses were lost on that Saturday by Charity Water. They were overwhelmed and not capable of keeping the records. She then said please mail or email her and they would straighten it out. They seem able to find people but I think maybe it is the address which is the problem - names and addresses got separated.
