Never saw that coming I'm guessing neither did Adam In yesterday's interview he did say he was having to rethink his outfit due to the heat so I'm guessing the plan was for a suit (clue is in the trousers) and maybe the tunic top was a last-minute Singaporean purchase. Either way, not even the most conservative citizen could accuse him of any impropriety in the outfit stakes! Yeah...no way they can find ANYTHING wrong with that outfit.

Very G rated show, to be sure. The most provocative was two instances of "damn" in the lyrics. No body rolls, no hip thrusts, no glambulge showing, no hands stroking his body, no sensual playing with the dancers. Folks watching him for the first time on the TV would be scratching their head in wonder at what the controversy could possibly be for this good looking guy with the amazing voice and upbeat music set.

It would have been so easy for them to announce right before they did the count down that Adam would continue his concert after the fireworks. Yes, so very easy. "Stick around, Adam will be back after the Fireworks"... How hard is that. But some of the audience seemed to know he was coming back because the live streamer told listeners he would be on again after the fireworks.

www.timeoutbeijing.com/features/Blogs-Music_Blogs/147967/Five-things-you-(probably)-didn%E2%80%99t-know-about-Adam-Lambert.htmlVery strange collection of "facts." Five things you (probably) didn’t know about Adam Lambert
How much do you really know about Adam Lambert? Free weekly newsletter The best of Beijing in your inbox! Your email address Five things you (probably) didn’t know about Adam Lambert published on 31 Dec 2015 1. He’s arguably more famous in China than anywhere else.
Although he enjoys international fame, recently Lambert’s profile has gone interstellar in China. He performed at a Beijing Singles Day event in Beijing in November alongside Jack Ma and Daniel Craig and, of course, appeared on The Voice of China in 2012 before being a guest judge on Chinese Idol. 2. He’s won rock royalty admiration.
Lambert’s 2009 song ‘Pick U Up’ was written by Rivers Cuomo of US geek-rock gods Weezer, who has described the singer’s voice as ‘amazing’. Even more of a rock seal of approval: Lambert has fronted Queen for huge tours since 2014. 3. He’s totally cool with sleeping with girls.
Lambert’s openness about his sexuality since coming out as gay in 2009 has made him something of a gay icon, but he has also spoken about how he doesn’t tie himself to a particular label. Earlier this year he spoke to Glamour magazine about how he slept with a woman for the first time when he was 29, saying: ‘It was kind of a random thing, but I was very curious… it felt great. It was a friend of mine and there was tequila involved and a full moon and then suddenly...’ 4. He can hold a note for 22 seconds.
There is seriously impressive YouTube evidence of this. It’s the result of his training as a leggero tenor opera singer. 5. He’s hooked up with closeted gay stars, too.
Lambert believes that although he is a successful gay international star, the entertainment industry is still a way off being accepting of homosexuality. This year he said he had ‘been with’ gay actors who present themselves as straight, adding: ‘Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that. But with women being the primary movie-goers and recordbuyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?’

Entire S’pore turned gay after watching Adam Lambert perform on Celebrate 2016 countdown show
Posted on 01 January 2016 They should have heeded the warning of highly religious Singaporeans. The entire nation of Singapore turned gay on Dec. 31, 2015, mere minutes before the arrival of the new 2016 year. This after Singaporeans from all walks of life watched renowned American gay singer Adam Lambert perform live for the Celebrate 2016 countdown show, which was broadcast on national television. As a result of witnessing the event, all Singaporeans have become gay immediately. One Singaporean, Tong Xing Lian, said he was half-expecting this to happen, but wasn’t sure if it would really come to pass: “I should have heeded the warning of highly religious Singaporeans when they warned about the effects of watching Adam Lambert perform in public.” “Now I am completely, utterly gay, there is simply no turning back to my straight ways, having been convinced the gay way is the only way.” Singaporeans who witnessed the transformation of their own sexual orientation attributed the changes to Adam Lambert’s dress sense and dance moves. One other local, Wei Tua, said: “Adam Lambert was at his most provocative this evening. He was decked out in a top that was as large as a bedsheet, baggy pants and slippers.” “These are the hallmarks of a provocative liberal gay agitator. This was exactly what the highly religious Singaporeans warned us about.” “We have no choice but to live with our gay identity as a nation from now on.”

Adam is a very smart man! And is respectful of the culture of each country he is doing a performance.
