I seriously doubt that Adam minds the GB discussions. He has always displayed it freely, humped mike stands, touched it and worn clothes and accouterments that make it highly noticeable (i.e. lace up crotches, very large belt buckles and very tight pants!) I'm pretty sure he is proud of it!! I find it a bit amusing! :D
Right! He is a sexy man and knows it! He dresses sexy, often. Tight leather pants, tight white legging type jeans are not someone who is hiding his attributes! Plus, he has a very funny colorful sense of humor! And he is a GUY!! I don't know a single guy who isn't proud of that body part! Even Jim Cantiello said that!
Just a year ago...he was riding the London UK rail system with Shoshanna in his orange/ gold/ black leggings....slash...tights. And no long jacket!
And this really made me smile too, so I went and looked at the cakes that Betty baked. WOW! Betty put some effort into creating these gems. Plus I learned something. I wondered why pigs were showing up on New Year's cakes, so I googled it. Guess what! THE LUCKY PIG The tradition that pigs bring good luck -- especially at the New Year -- is apparently Teutonic in origin; it certainly did not originate in Jewish or Arabic cultures where pig flesh was a forbidden food. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the image of a white pig (almost never a spotted, belted, or brown breed) is used as a lucky charm in Germany, Austria, England, and Ireland, as well as among Anglo-Americans.
I guess it's not a tradition with Anglo-Canadians! -- at least not in my family! LOL
Thanks for bringing it over Grandduchess.....I noticed it and may have watched it a couple of times....lol. Even my son mentioned before Christmas....."Have you watched Silver Pants this year?" lol.

Nica ....So it's 2.30am here and I've had a small glass of wine....or five....but aren't we, old guard, really starting our 8th year of Adam?
If you count from when we first 'met' him - Idol in early 2009.....09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15....Jan 2016 is the start of year 8, I think.
Getting scary how fast the years go - but how lucky are we that his success has meant we still have daily news of him.....I couldn't bear to have lost him into nothingness.
....and if I've got the maths wrong - sorry - and Happy New Year!
Sophie, LOL! YOU ARE SO RIGHT! OMG! I lost a year somewhere! It is hard to believe it's been FULL SEVEN YEARS (minus a few days) now!
So, here we go:
2016 = year 8 of our adventure in the Adam Era!
This post is a bit trippy! Where did those seven years of stanning Adam go!!! I have been thoroughly entertained by him and all of you. Thank you universe!
Thanks for bringing it over Grandduchess.....I noticed it and may have watched it a couple of times....lol. Even my son mentioned before Christmas....."Have you watched Silver Pants this year?" lol.
Do we know that the place had 30,000 seats for sale? How many were sole last year?
Gee I thought I read many times there was room for 30,000...cannot say exactly where I read it. So I went googling...
A trip advisory site mentioned ---not to worry about tickets for 2015 as they never sell out. And I copied from that site....this ....for the ..2014 show "The press eventually mentioned an attendance of 18,000 (the Float gallery seats 30,000), so the rest of the usual 200,000 crowd was milling about elsewhere in Marina Bay. Tickets will almost certainly be available at the door."
Edit: I was only commenting on what I read re tickets...if wrong...It would certainly change my concern. Still it would seem 8,000 less than 2014
Attendance:
2014: 18,000 Two acts: one popular boy band (The Wanted), one popular Chinese singer (Wang Leehom)
2015: 25,000 One insanely popular K-Pop boy band (Big Bang)
2016: 10,000 A singer popular for a couple of old hits and a big voice, and a recent sleeper hit
However this year, there were 300,000 in the Marina Bay area which I believe is more than previous years. All of them would've heard Adam.
As for how the place looked. Middle section was almost entirely filled. Right side of the seats had quite a lot of people. Left side of the seats were pretty much empty. I guess they ushered Category 3 people to the right side instead.
Nevertheless 10,000 is A LOT of people, AND don't forget that this event was TELEVISED. So the actual audience is actually much bigger than we think (don't think we'll get data for how big the TV audience was). And also don't forget the re-telecast as well. Both Adam and #Celebrate2016 trended on Twitter during both telecasts of the event. It's safe to say great interest in Adam was generated among Singaporeans!
