Nevertheless 10,000 is A LOT of people, AND don't forget that this event was TELEVISED. So the actual audience is actually much bigger than we think (don't think we'll get data for how big the TV audience was). And also don't forget the re-telecast as well. Both Adam and #Celebrate2016 trended on Twitter during both telecasts of the event. It's safe to say great interest in Adam was generated among Singaporeans!
It was all in his favour!
That is exactly what i was thinking. He was invited to a major NYE countdown event as the headliner - and nationally televised as well. An outdoor venue on new years eve is a tough sell - especially when you can watch on TV. It is so exciting that he was asked to headline, and the crowd looked great from the videos. He got outstanding press from all the local news and radio personalities and tons of exposure all around. I would not get hung up on the actual on-site attendance. Celebrate the fantastic show!!!!!
Right! He is a sexy man and knows it! He dresses sexy, often. Tight leather pants, tight white legging type jeans are not someone who is hiding his attributes! Plus, he has a very funny colorful sense of humor! And he is a GUY!! I don't know a single guy who isn't proud of that body part! Even Jim Cantiello said that!
Just a year ago...he was riding the London UK rail system with Shoshanna in his orange/ gold/ black leggings....slash...tights. And no long jacket!
Been reading this thread about the GB. I've been with Adam since Day One and I agree that Adam probably doesn't mind the GB attention at all. I think he enjoys it. He feels sexy, he IS sexy, he dresses sexy (most of the time). Guys in general think quite a bit about their own equipment, and Adam is no exception. I like my Adam sexy and uninhibited whenever possible. I look back on the GNT vids and kind of miss the uber sexy parts. He's just as sexy now, but in a different way. And BTW, if he wore that tunic top so he wouldn't be too "provocative," he succeeded. I prefer some tight leather pants and sexy shirt and heeled boots. Hope we get some of that on the TOH tour.
Re attendance at the event. It was also raining all that day, right? And at least misting during the performance. I would imagine there were folks who planned to buy tickets at the event but didn't go because they didn't want to sit in the rain.
It is hard to compare today with years past regarding sales. Things have changed. there are so many ways to see your favorite artist perform in addition to buying a ticket. This show was nationally televised, and streamed to many tens or hundreds of thousands. Videos were posted online. With those options, I would think fewer people would choose a live performance in the rain.
