Love all the feedback from the Singapore show. My thoughts: He really did tone it down quite a bit for this audience, esp. as a result of that conservative protest group. I can accept that decision. And I guess his outfit was part comfort (heat, humidity) and maybe some sort of over-compensation for the "don't be too sexy" thing. (No more long tunics, Adam!) But he also seemed to sing in a lower register and didn't go for the those glory notes that we all love and expect. My hopes for the TOH tour: He'll ramp up the sexy stage excitement a bunch of notches. I'm sure he will. That's what people want from him. Not the old GNT raunch, but the new, current uber grown-up, sexy Adam. He'll pull out all the stops vocally. This will be his first major solo tour in a LONG time. He has to impress. I hope he cuts down the band intro part, not because they don't deserve their due, but because it can tend to drag. I know he improvs and dances through it, but it could be shorter. And let me say this at risk of some Glambert wrath: I think he could use some dance coaching. He says he's not a dancer, and in my opinion he is pretty clunky at it sometimes. He's great with slinking around the stage while singing, but with a rehearsed, dance-step routine, not so much, IMO. That tunic thing didn't make the dance moves look very smooth and graceful, either. Maybe if he'd been wearing something else? Anyway, his vocals were great, as always, but I think he might have overdone the "toning down" a bit too much. I guess I just love my Adam to be far sexier onstage and more exuberant. Must have been the heat. Can't wait for the TOH tour to start in earnest with Adam pulling out ALL the stops! NO DOUBT! This was totally the SG special! He didn't move his hips at all, like they got frozen! All the movement came from his shoulders which looked "weird" to me and I think made his moves look "clunky" ... I am sure the sexy free Adam will be out in force for the tour!

Perfect! I think maybe he just needs to get more comfortable with choreography. He focuses on his world class ( or Universe class? ) vocals. At this point, I think he still has to think about the moves, they could become more natural as muscle memory kicks in.

Can we just discuss what we think of Adam wearing sandals on stage?

So nice to wake up to your great detailed recap Ghost! Thank you for taking the time to write your experience down for us. I feel like I was there right along with you being mesmerized my Adam! What a great pic of you and Adam! Don't worry if you felt like your moments with Adam seemed like a blur when it was over because many here, who have had the fortune to met Adam, feel like you did. Thanks for your explanation of the Singapore concert audience and a big HIGH FIVE to the 'mash pit' Adam fans and the energy they brought to the concert for Adam!! And so glad you were able to speak to Adam and give him your letter. I am sure Adam will read it as he promised. What a special moment for you! Way to go Ghost!!

If he danced more, he'd sing less. That's what the DIVAS and DIVOS do, that dance. Think about, Derulo, Beiber, Usher, etc! More backing tracks & that silly mic that is attached to their head. No, thank you! Adam doing natural moves to his music suits me just fine. It is more natural & this is when we get the sexy Adam moves. Choreo, from him, would take out the spontaneity, IMO! I am fine with the dancers doing the choreo dancing.

OT, but this is pretty cool. The website has an interactive listing of seemingly all styles of music, click on the name of the style to hear a sample. There are also other interactive lists at the bottom of the page. I think I might be able to bring this to Adam, when you click on deep euro house, I think I can hear similarities to the Ghost Town sound. everynoise.com/engenremap.html
