You're right Viv.  I didn't mean to be critical. I was really only being my shallow, silly self. I realize this is China and this is the first show. I think from what I've heard and seen so far....and it's only bits and pieces.....that TOHT is AWESOME! And after I posted early on....I now see some sexy and dancing in Trespassing and IIHY. So Sheila is THRILLED! Aww, Bama, I adore you. My post was not meant to be about you. It is about a tone I'm reading on the thread that is really rugged for me personally. I, too, love silly, sexy, spontaneous Adam. I think we'll see plenty of that. I have faith..  It's early in the game..and we did get R UNNIN'!!!
The shallow end is a fine place to be..I was only hoping we'd spend more time there is all.

I must be in an alternate universe. I think this thread is euphoric! Dazed and awed at this incredible show!! There are some personal likes and dislikes thrown in about this outfit or that. This song or that. We all know the score with the Singapore and Chinese cultural sensibilities and of course Adam (and we) are respecting that (or throwing a barb and that's OK too - he also did with his deleted lewd shade comment ). That doesn't mean we aren't looking forward to seeing him unleashed (I suspect he is too!) and if posters express that, it is not negativity. Such a beautiful day - let's be soft with each other. We have different personalities, different preferences, offended at this, salivating at that - it's all fine. We are all lovers - of Adam, of everything he represents and of each other. |

I'll take those. Could I have them as earrings as well, please?  They're yours! And of course you can! I mean, Adam has a jacket full of glittery blue things, so you should at least have earrings. I still have the black and white striped lollies and the two toned cherry blossom ones, btw. Any takers? I'll go for the cherry blossoms! It's snowing again and I think they would make a lovely counterpoint, don't you?  If I'd been in clever mode, I would have beaten Freaky on the earring idea. Earrings..  You go, Freaky! Why when I look at these graphics do I get two perceptions? Both mystical and mathematical. Someone with more experience can you explain? Well this is all I need to see to make my heart leap for joy -------ADAM !--------- because it's the first thing I saw on the screen the first time I saw Adam live on the AI tour in San Diego, all those years ago. Every time his name came up on the screen, the roaring screams were electrifying----and all that, was before he even appeared on the stage!!!! I'm still trying to process the images and sounds from his opening night, but all I can say now is his voice surpasses any in music today-IMHO. Th silhouettes are gorgeous and really capture the artistry of Adam and I can see all the thought he has put into the visuals in this production. But---WHEN DID HE HAVE THE TIME TO DO ALL THAT? It's obvious that he's working with a very talented team. As for the songs, one after the other -such enchantingly beautiful vocals. Wicked Game brings me back to that awesome night in Morongo and guys---he really does listen to us! After "standing here my whole life," he gave us RUNNIN'. I am brought to tears, once again, by this beautiful man. That is all I have to say....... |

I am not Hoppers, but I am very willing to continue the tradition until she is back. And yes, I can certainly use my usual coffee / whisky lolly today. And what a day to celebrate too! I have barely had time to look yet, heard only a snippet from Runnin', but he made me tear up already. Adam has his own tour, with screaming audiences. Bringing happiness and leaving people dazed and confused and euphoric where he goes. No doubt we will discover more layers in his designs. No doubt he will evolve, get even better during the tour. We might even see goofy sexy Adam on stage. For now I am just insanely grateful and happy that he will be travelling the world with his vison and his voice (and that in a couple of months I will be there to live it live). So... Anyone in for a lolly?  Rose petal lolly please |

One of many things I LOVED and forgot to mention before: during band intro Adam had a little duet improv with AR's (Adam Ross) guitar the same way he had done it with Dr. Bri (before going into I Want It All). I hope that section not only stays but grows and becomes more prominent - those vocal vs guitar improvisations are a treasure!  |
