Another partial Runnin. He sounds like he's ready to keep singing with the Whoa oh part and Chokehold starts. Love the set list, love the stage design, love his hair and makeup. At the risk of sounding entitled hate the pink suit but the others are good. I think his Queen outfits are sexier though. Thought he sounded fantastic and loved the dancers. So happy he did Aftermath and wish The Light could be a single.

And I think the cherry blossom suit is totes appropriate for Asia. Adam thinks of these things. IMO the more crap he hears about what he wears, the more tunics we are gonna see...j/s... I hope Adam hasn't read this thread the last few days here..I've seen some real slams, not just 'I don't like', but mean comments. When did we get so ultra-critical? This should be lollie time, damnit. Somebody go get Methinks we have gotten too spoiled. LOL.. don't you feel like you're back to 2009-2010?? Where fans were so entitled. I remember a wise young man said," Entitlement is not sexy".   Do not worry if he heard fans comments about what he wears for this tour or not. It's subjective. Adam won't care, he will keep doing what he likes. That's why ILHSM.  I can't wait to see the full videos with good audio, but it sure looks like a grand show! My take tends to be to just appreciate the wonderfulness of it all, and maybe want to understand how/why he made some of the choices he did from a personal and artistic perspective. In some cases things may not be that deep, but in others it surely is. He's been thinking about and planning this tour for a long time. A quick survey of likes and dislikes on today's thread regarding costumes and song choices shows how it is impossible to think everyone will all like the same things. Adam said when Simon didn't care for "Ring of Fire", "Some will love it, some will hate it." As Ricky Nelson's song says, "You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself." So Adam will make accommodations as necessary, but all in all, it's his baby, and I will appreciate/love every minute! |
