Adam must have a direct line to the Universe! It truly is inspiring. According to this EW article, The Voice finale will air on June 29, although I don't know how they can wrap up a competition between 16 contestants so quickly. So if there turns out to be a duet with Christina on the new album, it doesn't look like Adam would be able to appear on that program to launch the single this summer. But, the show does return in January, I think, so it's perfect timing for the second single. Maybe if Christina hadn't had her setback, she wouldn't be as amenable to the duet, but I think it will be amazing for both of them and I'm so happy to see one of Adam's dreams come true. Maybe the first single will be something upbeat and dancey/funky and he can return with a solo smash, and the second could be a ballad with Christina—just in time for the Grammys, too. And if it's a song written with Sia, I'm even more excited! |

Hi to all you awesome Atopians! Belated BD wishes to those I missed and to Zinna today.
RL has been keeping me away, but I really enjoyed yesterday's thread on the Adam colaborations and the discussion about radio play.
I agree that when Adam says "5 of WWFM" he means 5 BIG RADIO HITS, and not necessarily the sound of that particular song.
And, I must say that the Russian concert thread was the best ever!
And I absolutely love all the gorgeous young Russian Glamberts, they did our BB right!

Are their comments 'positive'? They are super excited!!! They want all of us to trend #XtinaAdamDuet !!!  I hope Adam fans reciprocate the good feelings. Xtina has a strong, vocal fan base around the world! (that has been around for YEARS) This is an opportunity- not a time to try and give opinions about who is helping who, etc. BTW, I am NOT referring to the opinions stated on this board!! I'm referring to tweets or comments sent out to the general public. |

Hmm SInce the VOICE is still on, is there a possibility that Christina would perform the new song (w/Adam) as a new single release for her? The VOICE reaches an audience of 5 M or so? THen he would have a presence on the radio until the release of his new CD? damn I'm so excited if true either way : |

Just had to step in for a sec...
IMO Xtina is the most powerful female vocalist and Adam is the most powerful male vocalist right now and I would LOVE to have them collab-duet. Of all the possibilities for a singing collab this is the one I would wish for him. And we all know this is one of his dreams...
Agree, Universe please make this happen! And hope fans of both will send out positive vibs all around:-)
