Readon and Skylar: Thank you both for your comments. I am pleased that you found the program interesting. Curious..... since y'all now know what my voice sounds like, were you surprised? Did it match what you pictured? No!! Your voice was much lower than I thought it would be. Love the way you speak, measured and confident. The teacher in you comes out. Good storyteller, patient, calming, in control. She has a very high voice. I almost couldn't believe it when I first heard it. I have British cousins so it was not the accent that struck me. Rather the manner. She sounds sing songy a bit like a female Mr. Rogers of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Liked the interaction. Balanced and interesting. THIS!!!! cassie , I expected your voice to be more high and sweet. But my fav voice is the one with a lower range. Even my fav women actors are the one with a lower range. I love Lauren Bacall 's voice so much! Confident and sexy. You reminded me of hers. :D

Cassie, you were wonderful in the Soundbath series. I am so proud of our ATOP member. Readon and Skylar: Thank you both for your comments. I am pleased that you found the program interesting. Curious..... since y'all now know what my voice sounds like, were you surprised? Did it match what you pictured? The actual sound of your voice is different than I anticpated. However, that doesn't mean much. The personality, the person, the intelligence and the CASSIE shines through. I listen and I know that this is CASSIE whose words that I love at ATOP. Words plus voice. It's the fleshing out of a spirit which is the most important part of a person.

edited by mahailia to remove sendspace file, YT's are up now, go www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EAEdTR0PekThanks for posting this. Anyone interested in listening, for the first part of the program we discuss what communication is, and how people who are deaf communicate (my field of study) and how they experience music. The first reference to Adam (tho' at that point he is still unnamed) is at about 18:30. At about 21:00 Angelina starts her discussion about what makes a singer a masterful communicator. Again, we do not mention Adam by name, but, listen to her list of attributes. (It was clear to me we were both discussing Adam, in particular, not just singers in general. Subtext. ) Adam displays every one of them. A lesson on why Adam moves us the way he does. At about 36:15 Angelina brings it around to Adam as an example of a singer who incorporates all the elements and communicates masterfully with his audience. The rest of the hour is spent discussing Adam's performances, his off-stage presence, and the three songs she plays to illustrate her points: Come Home, BorW, and TOFT. Hope you enjoy it.
