Maybe this is going to be his first single so they are talking to all the stations.

Satisfied, I was just coming here to post the gaga marketing strategy article! *hug* Really interesting indeed. Of course, the material needs to be good, but it shows how important marketing is in music. I was impressed by how the album release date was set last year and the launch was planned around the Grammys and the American Idol finale to maximize exposure.

Maybe they will release it in time to duet on the Voice. Sounds great to me and FLZ sounds like they are excited.

that duet would be awesome, but what does the 933 flz mean? 933 flz is a major pop station here in FL. I have a hard time believing this is true honestly but I'd shit twice and die if it were. Seriously now, is it possible since they had a meeting with RCA that they would tell something that is not true?? How these things work? Q3 HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELPP!!!!
ETA Thanks tantun!!!! So they did record a song!!!OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!

At risk of opening up a can of worms again, wow, way to take a discussion out of context. Did anyone once say that Adam needed to "collaborate just to get more airplay"? No, I think the argument was repeatedly, if he wants to do it and it's a good match and a guaranteed radio-in is an end benefit, why the hell not consider it? Adam is a collaborative artist, which has nothing to do with his solo artist status or him opening or not opening for other acts (red herring analogies, that have nothing to do with the initial point, IMO). He has mentioned MANY people he'd LOVE to collaborate with. If that defines a "sellout" to some, well, I don't know ... it certainly doesn't for me. Now you may not agree that a collaboration is the best thing for him, fine. What we thing has nothing to do with what he wants to do or thinks he should or the relationships he's building in all facets of his industry (corporate, public, media, personal, etc.) He's the one who make the decision if a relationship he has formed is a project he wants to pursue. He does it with every writing and producing partnership multiple times a week. He fields offers constantly, most likely and extends as many, probably. Some might fall from the sky – a random meeting at an AI finale, perhaps. He throws a lot out into the universe via interviews or Twitter. If someone of major status who he has said openly he'd LOVE to collaborate with extended an offer, do you think he'd turn it down? I don't. If something was requested by Sony brass, I'm sure he wouldn't turn it down either. And "an opportunistic marketing scheme"?? IDK, that doesn't sound like any part of the Adam Lambert I've been following these 2.5 years. JMHO YMMVIMO, Adam wouldn't look at a possible collaboration, which was used to get radio airplay, as an opportunistic marketing scheme. He would look at it as a business decision. Adam has stated time and again that he is not only an artist, but a business man. The talent and drive is there, but he has also made some smart decisions concerning his career. Adam has also made a few decisions that haven't been the best,(which I'm not going to get into ;D) but he learned from those missteps and he continues to make good choices in guiding his career. Making smart business decisions that could reach new fans (that are mostly younger) isn't selling out. Opportunistic=/=Selling out in my opinion.

Well given Adam's promoting and both of them with close Sia relationships, it would make perfect sense that they sing one of her songs together....which could be really epic.....goosebumps here...

They had tweeted this just prior to the X-tina rumor: 933flz 933FLZ For our @adamlambert followers, there was no mention of him at our meeting with @rcapromo. We'll dig for more info.
