Ooops, spamming the thread, but I'm the only one here it seems kapsiz thanks for those vids. Loved the K D Lang one as well as the Alison Moyet and Melissa Etheridge ones. They both take me back to specific times in my past. Alison Moyet's 'All Cried Out' got played to death by me whilst going through a break-up - and it helped so much at the time. I suppose it's the same for many today hearing Adam's BO, Aftermath and Soaked. At any given point in your life, certain music - a specific song speaks to your soul and eases the pain.
Ta Catz Every time I find out that someone on the other side of this planet loves the music I love is thrilling to me. I love K D Lang and Alison Moyet and Melissa Etheridge. I saw Alison Moyet last year, she played on a festival "Jazz on the Hill" at an amazing place, a hill way up where you can see the Aegean sea, very close to my town and she was amazing like she used to be. This girl has a voice.!! I saved also the YT of Jane Olivor to see them later. kapsiz thank you for posting these songs. adamrocks YW

Her gripe seems to be with Xtina fans, not Adam's. Refreshing to know that Adam fans don't have the monopoly on "entitlement". Yes. I understand Sia's personality is not to everyone's liking. She's offbeat and can be bizarre, to say the least. I'm not a Sia apologist by any means--don't think she needs defending anyway and she can more than take care of herself. But apparently she feels she's been repeatedly harassed for a very long time by Christina fans, a few in particular. She's commented in the past about having to block them. Some of them are vicious. Some seem to hate her, call her all kinds of awful names, and think she should be "grateful" for "everything Christina's done for her" and that she "owes them her career." It'd probably be best just to ignore them and put the force fields up, but everyone has a different breaking point. Sia has commented today that she "loves and appreciates and treasures" her own fans and the fan base she's developed over the years. She talked in her tweets about not wanting "inherited fans" because they don't "get her." After her illness, she apparently decided that she doesn't want to be famous and she's talked a bit in the past year or so about retiring from the performance side of music and just being a songwriter, since that's what pays her bills and she claims she doesn't make money recording. I'm disappointed that the duet rumor may not be true. Hopefully we'll hear some other exciting CD news soon. I like Sia,mostly because she is real. I think her illness made her re-evaluate her life and what's important to her. IMHO,Time is very important when you're sick&Living your life honestly takes on new meaning. She has said as much in different words. I have to admit she has a point about some extremely invested fans.. remember the movie "the Fan" with Robert D. and Jerry Lewis??Some scary stuff. Also a number of stars have been shot by crazy fans..
