Yes! To MyS*&@^#r50 and maria222pf!! We may be the only ones left on the thread tonite, but I am right here with both of you! I didn't really get lost in the events of raising my boys; but I did lose music; to the extent I thought, one day, "all the good songs have been written". My perception of music was that I'd rather listen to news radio because there was nothing musically inspiring out there. Now I know how wrong I was. I just wasn't looking for a melody. The amazing thing about my Adam awakening is HE caught me, unknowing, and did just that - he awakened me and brought me back to experiencing the passion - singing, dancing, going to concerts - that had shaped and inspired me years before. As for "Loaded Smile" - it is one of my most intimately loved songs, ever. It speaks to me. It speaks to the relationship my parents had, that I watched, that I lived. Two beautiful people loved and then began to slowly ruin the love. Their last dance was at my wedding. momtomany, I am still here, just not so vocal most days...lol! A Loaded Smile touches me also, hon. I too, lost music, for a while. Not because I was raising 2 sons alone, but later on, when I was into the *empty nest* syndrome. But, I never gave up on it. With Adam, I have found not only his music, but so many more types of music that are pleasing to me. Mostly Adams, though...lol!! When I'm so tired, from working 10 hr. days at a low rate of pay, I can always come here and lose myself in all of the love...and Adam. It makes my world turn right side up again. I'm so thankful for that. I so appreciate everyone here, who takes the time to post tweets & vids. A Loaded Smile touches me because of so many things, but I truly love it, and it really says something to me. Besides that, it's just beautiful, to me. It makes me feel. *It's a certain kinda complication*. Uh Huh...I know about that. Been a tough day, not going into it here, but love you all!!! Listening to ALS for the 3rd time now... *sigh* You're right, glittergma - Adam 'turns our world right-side-up again'. So perfect. This is a perfect place.  to all! |

Glittergma, I have a melodic Adam mix that includes I Just Love You as well as other softer Adam stuff. That song gets me every time. Try Lightening Crashes by Live. Thank you, AMW!! Will listen to it now!  Hugs, good to *see* you!! |

Well, I'm going to share a bit of stuff tonight. I was having a quiet day, 1st weekend off in 3 weeks. Did some laundry, etc., thinking I should do more...lol! Back & forth to the computer, to see if we had found Adam yet. I did get quite a bit accomplished today. I'm happy about that. MMMMMMMMMMMMM Soaked is playing now. Happy Later tonight, I was cruising on twitter and someone posted the DC SFW!! Oh yeah, I am so into that!! So, was watching ( and replaying the *get out! get out! take my picture, bitch* part!! Was having so much fun with it, seriously!! I have to replay that over and over. Probably my favorite GNT vid!! So, as I am watching for the 3rd or 4th time, my phone rings. I barely heard it as I had the sound up pretty loud. It was my oldest son, who lives here in town. He asked what I was doing? I told him I was watching this vid & was laughing, etc. *sigh* Then, he told me that his Grandpa (on his Dads side) has just passed away. Well, I felt like a POS for laffing & stuff, but he said it was ok. I didn't know, and all. It was expected. He went to see him last weekend and said it would'nt be long. Glad he went to see him. Sorry that he can't emote about it. Don't know if my youngest son knows yet, and can't call him myself. His dad needs to do that & there's a 5 hr. time difference. Still listening to Adams CD!! It keeps me grounded. I want to talk to my youngest son so bad, but he's probably still at work. Sorry if this should be in the members personal thread. Q3, you can delete, if necessary. Somehow, you seem to *get* me. Thanks for that. I hope my life has been well lived. I'm still trying to give all I can.
I work in LTC, and so love my residents. They seem to love me too, so I think I'm doing ok. Nothing betterer than having a sweet lady telling you *Oh, I missed you so* when I was only off work one day. OMG!! Made me cry, for sure.
I haven't heard anything about db1234 lately. Please don't quote me on this, but I think I saw something on twitter a while ago about her. Thinking it was something about learning to walk again??? I really don't know, but I wish her well, for sure.

I'm trying to find a couple of Adam pics. One was the silhouette of Adam from the back wearing his AI8 Tour jacket where he hand his right arm (I think) up in the air and the other was a recent pic someone posted that looked a lot like it but was a more recent pic? They remind me so much of a pic I saw of Freddie Mercury standing the same way. Anybody know what I'm talking about? ??? lol I'm not sure I got it right but is this what you're looking for?    |
