I love "Loaded " but I do like the live parformance of it best. Yes, ITA it is a whole lot better when he did it live -- although I have never seen it live, just the YT vids from the BC shows. Of course, every song on that album is better live -- except possibly FYE. I still like the Remix FYE the best.

The article was referring to Pop songs and albums. It is interesting to look at the males who are in the Top 10 as far as singles and albums go. It's definitely shows that the men who are urban/hip hop/rap or put out a collaboration with a pop princess have a huge advantage. These types of male artists and the females are ruling the top of the Pop charts and iTunes at this time. (if you look at the mediabase CHR top 20) I guess Bruno Mars and The Script would be an exception, so there is always a little room for something different! It is the same for the Pop charts -- Top 10 Pop Songs of 2010 -- 3 women: www.billboard.com/charts-year-end#/charts-year-end/hot-pop-songs?year=2010Top 10 Pop Artists of 2010 -- 4 women: www.billboard.com/charts-year-end#/charts-year-end/hot-pop-songs-artists?year=2010This week top selling Digital songs -- 5 women. Yes, so the article states that back around 2000 the charts were dominated by males (2 females in the top 10) and times are changing. There are more women and the couple of country acts that managed to cross over were Taylor Swift and Lady A. (which has a woman as one of the lead singers) The BEPs are led by Fergie- they aren't an all male group. On the top 10 songs, 3 were women and 2 of the songs featured them. 4 of the top 6 Pop artists were women!! No wonder I felt like all I heard on the radio was the pop princesses. It's time for Rihanna, KP, and Kesha to take a break! PLEEAASE! My point (outside of what this article is stating) is that when you take the women or groups with females as leads (Lady A, BEPs) and add in the hip hop/rap/urban type singers, you aren't left with many artists outside of those boxes when looking at the CHR Top 20. Pop radio isn't leaving a lot of room for diversity, which brings me to the point of being burnt out on the pop/rap collabs and the dance songs from the girls. I really like Katy Perry and Kesha, but I'm getting tired of hearing them on the radio. The list of top selling concerts is a whole different topic. That is a whole different world! Many of the artists and groups on that list haven't had a "hit" in years, much less a pop hit. Not that it matters, because they are still raking in the money! Plus, they are the artists and groups I'd be more likely to spend money and time to go see! In other words, the top selling concerts don't reflect the top selling singles or even albums of the year.

Just chatted with someone who was in the audience for Idol Show WLL -- she remembers no mike stand stroking during the performance. But they had the camera on his face for a chunk of the performance so no way to be sure. If it happened on Idol, it must have been very subtle because I cannot find any online reports about it. And there are a number of eyewitness/audience reports. oh, yeah, found it: in Realite at 3:46 Adam talks about the Idol WLL and that TPTB shot him from the waist up 'cause he was doing "the same mic-ography" lol, that he did on Idol tour. ( and he even clarifies what he's talking about with this lil' gesture ;D ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_Yh4B1O_aI
