933flz played WWFM quite a bit and they seem to love Adam but they dropped IIHY very quickly once it started to peak. I don't understand because that song could have gone platinum with a little more AirPlay. It continued to outsell other songs for awhile that were getting a lot more radio play. 933flz gave Adam's concert after the Ray's some good coverage. He drew I think the biggest crowd of that concert series so I am sure they know what a draw Adam is. Oh, and Adam drew a huge crowd to that Jingle Ball and he didn't even perform! I hope this means they will support new Adam music as I was not happy about IIHY. For the most part, Radio PDs do what they need to do to keep their target audience and live or die by ratings. FLZ played IIHY more than most CHR stations so I can't knock them. And they have promoted Adam constantly even during this between albums dark period. IIHY did fine and will eventually go Platinum in the US -- my guess is in 22 months. It was a Top 40 hit (#30 on the Billboard Hot 100), just not a Top 10 hit. And it gave Adam 2 Top 40 hits from his first album. So IMO this song was a hit -- and largely because it got radio airplay. It just is not the kind of song that has done well on US Top 40 radio. A similar contemporary song (in terms of that euro-pop dance beat) that did well in the US was La Roux's "Bulletproof" which peaked at #8 in the US. I would love to hear Adam do a hot dance track like "Bulletproof" -- and hopefully we will get that on his next album. IIHY did not break into dance clubs -- even as a remix. But the Europop sound of IIHY is just not popular or heard much on US Top 40/CHR radio -- it was once popular here but that was in the 80's. Now that Adam has proven he can sell music and he is not just another reality TV artist, and since he has more time and control of his second album, I am optimistic he will put together better, more current material. But FYE was filled with pre-existing songs that RCA/Adam selected for him to record. All 4 of Adam's singles where written before Adam was involved -- TFM, FYE, WWFM and IIHY. (Although IIHY did have the "Mad Libs" lyrics so it could be personalized for the recording artist. Always makes me chuckle when I hear it. I can almost imagine someone asking Adam -- favorite car _______, what do you put on when you go out ___________, etc. And please do not get me wrong -- I adore IIHY and love the video more but I can still see it for what it is -- an old-school pop tune with a classic format and a retro beat.

I didn't care for love song, but liked love strikes Same here. Love Song sounds like she cherry picked parts of other hit songs and mashed them into one song. Me Three. Didn't care for Love Song at all. Derivative, shallow & boring. Not hoping for something similar for Adam. Love Strikes was better. If the BBQ is June 12 I doubt that Adam would be going to Finland now. That would be an entire week there. I'm on the Sweden first train! And Q3's guess of a Fall single is disappointing. I was hoping for a (late) Fall album release. If there is a single release in Fall there wouldn't be time for 2 singles prior to the album release. Would there?

Six hours of Adam Lambert-themed music. They're doing songs by people affiliated with Adam as well. They led with The Darkness, then played FYE (love that song) and then Dr. Luke-produced song by The Veronicas.
Should be a full day of Adam; Liam's show will be on later too.

Spammng (sorry).
I know very little about the pop music business, but I have been "concerned" about the people he has been working with. Am I being silly? There just don't seem to be many top hit-makers among them. You guys who know much more than I do (and especially Q3) - do you think his collabs so far have been his choice? Do you think some of the big names associated with FYE passed on working on Adam2? Do you think it's financial? (I assume he got a pretty good advance based on sales of FYE - certainly way more than KA)
Shoot me down.

LOL! I've given up on the idea that there's an actual collab, but I'm taking the interest in this as a good sign for Adam #2 :D Still want Adam to guest on The Voice, whether he sings with Xtina or not. Although given the timing, it probably woudn't be his next single.
