Same here. Love Song sounds like she cherry picked parts of other hit songs and mashed them into one song.
Me Three. Didn't care for Love Song at all. Derivative, shallow & boring. Not hoping for something similar for Adam. Love Strikes was better.
If the BBQ is June 12 I doubt that Adam would be going to Finland now. That would be an entire week there. I'm on the Sweden first train!
And Q3's guess of a Fall single is disappointing. I was hoping for a (late) Fall album release. If there is a single release in Fall there wouldn't be time for 2 singles prior to the album release. Would there?
Not really a guess about the Fall single -- it is what Adam said. I think the lack of mention of Adam at last week's RCA promo meeting with Clear Channel just confirms that this will be a Fall promo push. He was not on their summer schedule. (Note: sometimes labels tease things that are farther out -- but that is when they lack current material OR if it is going to be huge. Gaga's latest album was promoted to radio and retailers for a year pre-launch.
I do not expect RCA or Adam to have 2 lead singles prior to his album release. It is a very expense promotional approach. But I would love it!
My hope is that there is one track that is suitable for both CHR and HAC formats, and they promote the heck out of it.
My dream is a that there is a hot dance track for CHR and a mid-tempo ballad that can go CHR-HAC-AC but that is a dream -- or a FANtasy.
Adam said November for his album -- that means September for a single -- maybe August -- but little chance that it will be the end of June.
The fan dream of Adam performing a new song on The Voice would have to be something unrelated to the album. The two final results shows for "The Voice" are Wednesday, June 29 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Leading up to that finale, NBC has also set an extra results show for Wednesday, June 22 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

I think that RCA will look for a big TV event to promote Adam's new single. There are many possibilities -- here are two.
1. X-Factor -- strong connection to Sony and Fox, will be working on capturing the Idol audience. Starts in September.
2. 2011 MTV Video Music Awards airing live on August 28. (This is the best fit to the schedule. MY VOTE!
