NoAngel: I firmly believe that Adam owes me NOTHING. We entered into a business transaction where he produced a product and I purchased it. He performed, and I bought a ticket to that performance. Contract completed. If I vote for him in polls, contribute to his charities, buy multiple copies of his recordings, it is a purely self-serving act. OK guys the picture queen here needs your help!!
It seems that I've lost one picture (how the hell that happened I dont know) and I want it back!!!It's from the GMA concert, after the concert there is a picture of Adam and his mom walking by the buses and Adam has his backpack and he is looking at him mom. He's wearing these clothes. I have work to do now I'll come back later to see if anyone found it. Help? Please? ;D

Well, the rumor I got using the formula was really boring. So, I thought I would just create my own. Adam Lambert, international pop superstar, was in London last week to meet with the Royal Opera regarding a special benefit performance. Lambert is known for his remarkable range and flamboyant, theatrical performances of pop and rock, but, few know he is actually a classically trained vocalist with years of performance experience in musical theater. An anonymous source reported that the Royal Opera Company wants to attract younger audiences and expose them to classic music, and proposed the idea to Lambert of singing an aria at a benefit performance this fall. Lambert, always eager to challenge and stretch himself, expressed interest. Some members of the company were strongly opposed to this "blatant and vulgar publicity stunt," claiming it would cheapen the reputation of this world-class company. That was until they heard Lambert run through the aria with piano accompaniment. That was all it took for these august opera purists to become "Glamberts." Said one member, "I saw this punk-looking kid with a mop of hair, dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans, wearing eye-liner, and thought we would hear a train wreck or the execution of a cat. But, when he opened his mouth and started singing, the most exquisite, pure, leggiero tenor voice floated out. Stunning! If this guy ever decides to leave the pop world, he has a place in this company any time!" Regrettably, no recording was made of this impromptu performance. We can only hope that negotiations between Lambert and the Royal Opera Company will be successful, and the world will hear a new tenor star at the benefit this fall! ...brought real tears to my eyes....  - what a beautiful rumor I'll be dreaming about this with one little change: all of this will be happening in NYC where Adam will stop on his way from EU to LA. My rumor: Negative Neil said that Adam had a crush on Lindsay Lohan at the Grammys. Ha! That's great! Mine was so boring, that I "borrowed" the stats from one of my daughter's friends (who's getting dinosaur books for his birthday today). "I forgot who told me that Adam had a secret meeting with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie about having a wedding" This works on so many levels! I love it!!   |

NoAngel: Thank you for another insightful, thoughtful article. During this lull in news and my suffering thru withdrawal I have thought a lot about my addiction to Adam news and my expectations or wants/needs. In a recent communication with Angelina Kalahari, the professional opera singer, she expressed perplexity and irritation at Adam fans who seem determined to tell him what he should sing, and what he should produce. The idea that fans would try to dictate a singer's artistic expression was distressing. ..... I wonder if this woman expressed "perplexity and irritation" at Adam fans at least partially because she is immersed in the professional opera world where, I would imagine, the singer/fan relationship is worlds apart from the pop/rock artist/fan relationship. She seems aghast that fans would express opinions on artistic expression, musical direction, which I believe is a given in the pop/rock/country music world of today where that close connection is vital for success and welcomed by artist and fan alike, IMO. Thus the popularity of Twitter, Facebook, etc. Perhaps she is on a learning curve now, thanks to your "mentorship" introducing her to the world of fans and stans of pop stars. Interesting.
