Adamrocks -- I'm going to Kansas and sitting right next to some other Adamtopians! 5 of us at that concert that I know of so far. It should be a fun venue! I googled Wichita Kansas and it's another almost 6 1/2 hrs driving from here in St. Louis. I really enjoyed Chicago for the QAL concert but I flew there and I'm just not sure what I am going to do. The drive is 4 1/2 hrs. to Chicago. But I really don't like driving out of my comfort zone where I have no idea where I am going and if I'm on the right roads etc. I don't think flying is an option this time. I definitely couldn't do a GA standing the whole time. Too short...I wouldn't be able to see anything.lol But I think these two venues have some seating?

The floor is set up in rows, and the balconies are set up as tables, as far as I can tell. No GA and no standing (well, unless you count the part during the actual concert--LOL). Tickets are actually less expensive than some other venues as well. I would think it would probably be a pretty easy drive, if a little long. I can send you the info as to where the other Atop folks are staying if you are interested. Send me a PM if you are.

So... if the Rocky Horror remake is really good, will that be bad? ("Bad" in a good way)? (Bad in a not good way)?

So... if the Rocky Horror remake is really good, will that be bad? ("Bad" in a good way)? (Bad in a not good way)? I think it's safe to say that since this is airing on a network, it will not be as risqué & will have to sacrifice most of the subversive content in order to air on the channel. ...So it is impossible that it will be anywhere on the level of the original. BUT I think the best that can happen is the remake is boundary-pushing (as much as possible on Fox), the characters capture the essence of the originals, & the music stays alive. Plus, I'm sure the remake will bring a new audience to the original. I also have no doubt that Adam will CRUSH his performance. It's kind of what he does best: steal the show
