This seems really odd. TOH was released as single. Why wouldn't it not be charting on the usually pop charts? The album should be on the album charts & the single should be on the single charts. If someone just DLs one song, it can't count as an album. OK, here we go, for Australia: TOH single is #390 overall; #157 on Pop TOH album is #443 overall; #92 on Pop GT is #144 overall; #66 on Pop  |

Hmm, maybe a bit of confusing was created by me not telling I only posted the single position, not the album position.
My figures were for songs only.

On Pop it looks to me like the stations he did radio shows for have suddenly dropped the song like a hot potato. Wilkes-Barre ditched half it's spins in one week then McAllen and now Buffalo. I don't remember what all the stations were that he did shows for so if anyone else does and can check that would be interesting. All of the large decreases on the leader board were I think stations he did xmas shows for.

and on top of that the album is way out of 1000 on iTunes...
hope GooglePlay has some activity...do they post any stats?

The album had been out of the top 1500 up until the last week or so of intense press coverage. The press is slacking off so it is dropping again. Perfectly normal. I have no idea if GooglePlay posts any stats but it likely wouldn't be all that relevant either. Since we don't know who is doing the giving (Google or WBR) there is no way to know if these will count towards sales for certification but it is unlikely as if Google is paying WBR then giving it away it still may count as a bulk purchase which wouldn't count for certification. It's not worth us worrying about. The only reason to go ahead and download it would be to show interest in Adam but don't think in terms of it counting toward sales and definitely not chart position. |

I still hope non-fans would download just because it is free, listen and perhaps like the music... on another subject: -do you think it would be reasonable to assume Adam is clearing pre-tax $100K/concert on average for the TOHT? including VIPs and merch? again, key word is "average", as some venues are too small for any significant profit if any...do you think he is guaranteed a minimum amount by promoters? -how much could the RHPS pay? -what could the Oreo gig be worth? |

I'm not real surprised that CHR is not embracing ALN. It really is a HAC song and probably won't get much Pop play until it hits Top 20 or above in HAC.
