But with these choreographers, she will grow. With her emotional connection it is entriely possible she can win. Her personality is pretty damn adorable too! I think she will connect to the audience. Alex was not cleared by is Drs yet. He tweeted about it. Sasha is adorable but there are two others I also like. SHe will grow because she is talented BUT dancers LINES are extremely important and her feet have got to point. Watch closely next week when she dances, her feet are flexed. The teachers most likely will point that out to her so hopefully she work on the lines. But there are other dancers who leg lines are superior. Damn, Alex's injury must have been severe, it's been over a year.

Just saw the top 10 guys perform together- they were great.
Nigel told them that as good as they were, they couldn't count the girls out because SYTYCD, unlike OTHER shows, really supports girls. LOL. Wanna guess which show he meant?

Idol has had 4 girls and 6 guys. Up through season 7, though, Idol had 4 girls and only 3 boys. So, a better percentage of girls, than SYTYCD.

Don't feel bad guys. I also don't see Sasha winning this thing. I don't know how far she will get. I just loved seeing her get this far. I'm so proud of her no matter if she gets voted off next week.

Why does Mary (the Judge) get on my nerves. ???
oh well I really enjoy this show so much better than AI. (Well anyway since Adam) Unfortunately, a dancing career is a harder career path than a writer/recording artist as well as the longevity.
p.s. I hope they dance to FYE's music.

I would think a dancer would have more opportunities than a recording artist. I mean, if we look at shows like Adam's, one singer but 4 dancers. Lady Gaga has about 12 dancers. I don't think dancers come close to making what a successful singer does, but it seems there are more openings for dancers. Definitely hard on their bodies though, that's for sure! Mary gets on my nerves too!

Sasha? Are you listening? I am beaming inside. Our Sasha is performing on TV for millions. I don't care how cray that may sound. I just hope that this gives her greater opportunity to make a living. She may wants some dimmers too. ETA: In looking at the Top 10 guys and girls, I think that the groups seems very evenly talented. As a group, they were all amazing. I missed some of the show. IMO, the one person that stood out in the group perfromance was one of the hip hop guys. I don't remember his name, but he was the guy who was almost 30 and this was his last year to compete.

I know close to nothing about dancing, so I cannot judge Sasha's lines and feet. Am glad, however, to have those of you who know about this to educate me.
I haven't watched SYTYCD in a long time, but it is pretty fascinating.

I'm sure Adam netted more on the tour than all the dancers and musicians together. Singers can go well into the 60's i.e. Rod Stewart, the Sinatra's and Broadway singers, etc. I have yet to see 50-60 old dancers. There are very few classical dancers who command a salary range such as the pop singers today. i.e. Beyonce, Beibers, etc. So that was my point, and as you pointed out, it is definitely hard on their bodies :-/ Dancers have a short window career wise as opposed to other art forms.

After that window.. what do they do.. Teach? that is if they have the temperment for it.. Not everyone can be a choreogragher like Brian Friedman (Adams friend) Terrance is now 30 isn't he.. how much longer can he go?

I like Sasha and she is adorable, but I would not vote for her if I didn't think she deserved it. I want the best to win, not the cutest, not the best sob-story, not the handsomest. The best! However, the best does not always win (see AI8, AI9). So, I hope all the Adam fans only vote for her if they think she is the best. But, I hope she makes it to the top 10 so she can go on tour!!

I also like the tall male tap dancer and the gal with the short Betty Boop hair! May I ask how old that Ballroom Champ is? She looks 45....Is there an age limit on this show? (Not dissing aging dancers...but dayum!) edit/ hah! Just reread the post I quoted....30 in the cut off? I seriously doubt that girl is 30!!!!!

Just watched Sasha dance with the first group of dancers put through to the top twenty. She really is spectacular- I enjoyed her dancing with GNT but it didn't give any clue of how good she really is. I hope Adam sees some of this- it will blow him away I think.Copied from News thread: adamlambert Adam Lambert@sashamallory just caught up w ur SYTYCD performances on utube.
