OMG - you guys are too funny! I've lived in the SF Bay Area all my life (except for a brief time in WEHO - early 80's) - been a Parade Monitor at many SF GLBT Pride Parades. The things you are so naive about (sex swings/slings) are things I've known about FOR YEARS! (I assume everyone knows about those things  already!) I guess, I live in another world! : Come to SF - for either the "Castro Street Fair" or the "Folsom Street Fair"!!! Folsom Street Fair WILL open your eyes probably much further than you would like them to be!!!! JS : |

Sorry. It just was so irritating and fake. I don't know the music, so, who is singing? Is that Chris Brown? Or Ludacrious? |

He makes an excellent point. I want to hear my singers without the enhancements, too. Even the best singers, the best instrumentalists in the world hit occasional bum notes. it is part of being human. It is part of being authentic. It is part of the thrill of watching a live performance. I am not as interested in perfection as the pursuit of it, the commitment to it , the discipline of reaching for it with all you have, with all you are. And the divine joy when all the hard work, the technique, the risks of walking the tight rope, the emotions, the vulnerability, the fierceness, and the artistry all come together for a perfect moment, a perfect phrase, a perfect song. |

Good Morning everybody! And welcome to those I've missed welcoming before, and Happy Birthday to all those I've missed wishing that lately! OT:Sauli was seen at two bars last night, so he's spending the weekend in Helsinki, ready for the Aalto concert tomorrow. It's a free entry outdoor's concert with several big/biggish Finnish artists. Radio Aalto and Bon Aqua are jointly giving 3 litres of drinking water to Africa per every concert goer, btw. The concert will be shown on TV too next week. As we still have the hot summer weather there should be a huge crowd (for Finland, LOL) at the concert. |
