To be honest, as much as I loved GNT, I could have done without all the Tommy kissing, too, but the point of my post is that the GNT had a certain unabashed edge, a rawness, that I do miss. I certainly don't want Adam to become generic, with no surprises, no grit. I do love his new look and stage persona. But maybe that's partly because I've been a fan since Day One and I've followed him through each phase right up to now. People brand new to Adam only see him as he is now. I want them to be blown away by him as I was, not just nicely satisfied. He's far more than a "nice guy" with a "nice voice." I hope he can keep people excited, reinventing himself, keeping it fresh, keeping us wanting more.
Well from Adams pov. He may not feel the need to sing high or blow ppl away. As hes established now. Has no point to proove. Besides if a new fan discovers him. They CAN always go on yt or something check. His past stuff. I really appreciated the raw, sexy Adam with the big voice and killer looks. I loved GNT! I could have gone to 20 concerts if I had the finances. He looked dangerous even though we knew he was a pussycat. Kissing Tommy was just a little extra unf and I'm not the only one that thinks so!!! He didn't look like anyone else. I know it's not mainstream and it probably held him back a bit, but I'll be happy for him no matter what direction he chooses and I will remain a fan. His show was very much like the pop diva's out there, he really put on a show! We do not need him blending in (WGWG) as if he ever could!!! ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/Chuckler_zps27031fe6.gif)

I personally diddnt like Gnt. In terms of the over the top Glam. Not to mention the stupid continuing kissing Tommy. Toh tour far better. Adam looks so much better without all the makeup. I prefer this era but thats just me. I dont think Adams necessarily lost alot of edge. Just hes evolved. He wore edgy outfits as a way of a mask. I just think hes over it lol. And has outgrown that time. The key is fans to adapt with him. Thank goodness he has evolved. I too prefer this era. I much prefer this era and totally agree with all of 3ku1's comments. I feel like he is so much more comfortable with himself now and so real, and I think he has said as much in recent interviews.

Adam well prob be talked in the same light as Bowie one day. My dad who hates anyone fronting Queen. Loves Adam with Queen. Big bowie fan too haha. His career trajectory wont be the normal straight to megastardom. Big hits etc. But its one I believe well have longevity. He well make q cultural impact. On Lgbts, the same way Mj did with African American artist's. My DH asked me last night, in more of a cheeky way, how much I really wanted for and from Adam. My answer was that he may never win a Grammy, but that I see him receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award. Adam's too young to get a Lifetime Achievement Award. Maybe in another 2-3 decades

So if say toh goes top 20 on Bb 100. Say toh. No reason.

I've enjoyed watching Adam evolve. I think I've watched every video made from AL till now. GNT was so exciting for me because we were watching someone realize a dream and he was sooooooooo adorable. I loved WAG again watching every video I could find and I got to see him perform his Trespassing music at Universal. Queen was a whole other story. This is where we realize just how powerful his voice is... WOW... and now we get his own music. I love each part of the TOH show. The dark he is so passionate and I love how he gets so into it. The middle is just beautiful and the end is so much fun.
I screen shot some pictures for my friend of Josh Groban tour so I watched his whole show. He does have a lovely voices and put on a really good show, but I missed those notes and excitement that only Adam can bring. He stirs my soul.

I should have been more precise and added, "...a Lifetime Achievement Award some time"
