[For FYE I had almost all the collaborators, and many of the song titles by July 1. There was much more info about what Adam was doing than Kris. When it was closer to album release time, it flipped. In August, Jive started to promote Kris' album and released a lot of info. In September, there was a lot more info about FYE -- including several previews from Rolling Stone, EW, etc. Some reporters complained about not getting previews of Adam's album in August. But fans knew a ton by then. This time info is locked down but the lock-down is coming from Adam not RCA. Even my contacts at RCA don't know a lot or are not talking. And what do we really know this time --- Adam has been vague. We have a few collaborators names. We do not have tweets from producers about beat tracks, or anyone like Aimee Mayo tweeting about hoping her song makes it. I would think he's trying to avoid things like the media hype over RedOne that wound up being slashed and even Aimee Mayo's tweets. Fewer questions and possible hurt feelings all around. Maybe also looking to sell some of those songs that don't make it to other singers and easier to do if they never get leaked. |

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! Didn't intentionally hide. Bama , you've met babs12 and me as well--and others at mayumi's. You may have the most in- person meets than any of us, tho I think sandysva might be able to match you. No matter how many, atop fans are fabulous women.!!!!! Wow, I was just thinking......looking over the posters on page 8.....I have been so fortunate....make that blessed....to have met, in the flesh,....Q3, needacoke, NoAngel, aloha, Stardust, rihannsu, 4Msrmyn & adamme. How great is that !!!  It is quite possible that most of the ATOPers have met each other with the max of two degrees of separation... ;D We can play the "connection" game while we are bored to death... For instance in the group mentioned above - I met Adamme (actually she happened to have slept in every possible bed and air matress in my place  - sorry Adamme, I still feel bad about having to move you around so much ! :-[) |

Just to clarify about the event tomorrow in Helsinki (where Sauli is supposed to attend): It is a free concert, not a bbq, organized by Radio Aalto in the honor of the 461st birthday of the city of Helsinki. There are free events and happenings all around the city during the day and this concert is one of them. Somehow I don't think that Adam would attend this kind of an event with Sauli. JMO. Oh, and happy birthday, ljsmack!  |

That photo was taken in Miami -- and she tweeted "Just met Adam lambert at the airport t.co/8DdBga8" so it was today. Can't believe it's almost a year since you picked me up at the Louisville airport and I was able to meet you, bamafan, babs 12, scotia and the other Atopers. Looking forward to the Quebec concert and whatever else eventually comes our way in Adam-land. |
