Spotify update from this week (Worldwide!):
All TOH album songs 7 day average: GT 165k (LW 171k) ALN 26.1k (LW 27.3k) TL 10.0k (LW 7.3k) TOH 8.1k (LW 8.6k) Rumors 5.1k (LW 4.9k) UG 4.1k (LW 4.7k) EITN 3.5k (LW 3.5k) TISI 3.1k (LW 3.2k) Lucy 2.5k (LW 2.4k) TIDS 2.3k (LW 2.3k) HF 1.8k (LW 1.8k) Shame 1.4k (LW 1.4k) AH 1.3k (LW 1.3k) TB 1.3k (LW 1.3k)
Huge increase for TL. GT and ALN are still dropping. The rest isn't moving that much. The big increase for UG last week dropped back again. The increase I saw yesterday got negated a bit with lower increases on Saturday and Sunday.
His other big songs: WWFM 19.5k (LW 19.4k) Runnin' 11.8k (LW 11.7k) IIHY 9.6k (LW 9.8k) FYE 4.8k (LW 4.4k) Trespassing 3.9k (LW 3.9k) NCOE 3.6k (LW 3.5k) BTIKM 3.5k (LW 3.4k)
Most songs had some increase except for IIHY. FYE had the biggest increase.
Adam's total amount of streams this week for TOH (including remixes) is: 1,710,143 (LW 1,748,617) Total increase other albums this week: 609,579 (LW 605,103)
The drop in TOH streams is again a little less than last week. The rise for other albums is spread over several albums.

I love The Light. It is super catchy. I honestly think it would be the best next single if it didn't sound so much like a club remix. Too "Club" for radio?
So, how has TOH done in the countries where it has been released (sorry, I can't even remember which countries). Did it/has it caught on at all? Is it basically "done?" Would Adam's team be ready to move on with a completely new single world-wide? Might this be why they have been slow to get out something new?
Have patience! I am so out of the loop. I read when I can, but I know I probably miss a lot of discussion. I have 4 kids under 16 (excuses!) and am running in all directions all the time!!

bullsfan I think the only countries were TOH was officially released are Australia and New Zealand at the end of 2015. It made the streams on Spotify increase quite some, but in the charts it did not do much.
There were also reports of the single released in Poland and South Africa beginning of February, but I think Warner Poland were a bit too enthusiastic there. When someone tweeted to Shoshanna about that she reacted kinda surprised. After that we haven't heard much from Poland or South Africa about it at least.
So there isn't that much info about how TOH has been doing. Streams have increased but it's not reacting like TL is reacting in Spotify. Since Adam performed TL live streams have increased big time and it has had huge bumps from day to day as well. I wonder if they have tried out the song in some disco's already a few times or something. The huge bumps we are seeing aren't completely correlated with his performances.
If TOH will be the next single? I don't know. What I do hope is that if it is that they release a reworked version in the way Adam sings it live now. That means without the falsetto in the main singing lines. The falsetto is nice as background vocals, but the live version he does now is way better for Adam to sing. Also releasing a new version on iTunes means we fans can buy the single and push it into the iTunes charts to get it to people's attention.

skaschep , TY for the thorough Spotify numbers! Fascinating! Look at Runnin! If we plug into an "overall" chart, it would be #3, right after ALN! The Hit that got away!

skaschep , TY for the thorough Spotify numbers! Fascinating! Look at Runnin! If we plug into an "overall" chart, it would be #3, right after ALN! The Hit that got away! Yes, Runnin' is his fourth song in Spotify since last year August already. Having very steady streams. Spotify isn't very big in the Asian countries or else it would have been even bigger I think. When you look at his YT numbers since September 2014 Runnin' is 2nd after GT. It's also 2nd in the US. See his artist insights: Link Worldwide Link USTop Tracks YT numbers since September 2014: GT 96.5 mil Runnin' 60.3 mil IIHY 33.2 mil WWFM 32.3 mil FYE 20.9 mil NCOE 13.0 mil ALN 12.7 mil BTIKM 9.4 mil
TP 6.2 mil Runnin' is almost everywhere 2nd after GT except for the Asian countries where GT isn't very big and Runnin' is 1st. See also my YT stats sheet for country stats.

Runnin' was a huge missed opportunity, imo. I remember that guy Kworb LOVING the song, and I don't think he is really a fan. It may be my favorite Adam song. It just screams "huge movie soundtrack song" to me. The build-up is just epic.
