How times change! Seven years ago I paid $200 to see Adam for 20 minutes in the Idol Tour. I waited until the last minute ... I wasn't going to go until I began to see the videos and couldn't resist ... I had to go to Stub Hub, and I've never regretted it. Now we are complaining about 75 minutes for less than half that (unless you are going for the VIP). I paid $65 and drove 400 miles to see him do 3 songs in Long Beach last year, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! As long as your budget can handle it, Adam is worth seeing, whether it is one song, a dozen, an hour .... ITA I did the big ticket VIP last night and loved every minute of it. I too went to Long Beach LOL. Wanted to hear him sing anything from TOH for the first time to a live concert audience. It was a crazy drive in nutso weather but totally worth it. Great to hear! Seems the only complainers are us freeloaders

I so envy those who get 75 precious minutes of live Adam. I would pay anything I could to see him live, so gorgeous, singing on the stage in front of me, even for one song. But due to life circumstances, that will never happen for me. I am so incredibly thankful for tour performances videos. That is what I have. I live vicariously thru you. Count your blessings, people.

You cannot see it that way. For some people money isn't a problem, for some fans it is. Depending where you're in the Maslow's hierarchy, one song or a dozen there're differences.

I was at the GNT Nokia NY #1 and #2 shows. His voice was raspy like it is now during the first show. Before the second show, I had a chance to speak to Neil Lambert and I asked him is Adam was sick -- he confirmed that Adam had the flu and had gotten a Vit B shot so he could perform. During MW in Atlantic City it was clear that Adam was congested. The show was great but I have heard him live enough times to be sure he was not well. I guarantee that almost everyone in the audience had no idea he was not 100%. >> And for all the discussion, the AC concert, my first TOHT concert, was the best Adam Lambert show I have ever seen. It is more than Adam -- although he is the best part -- the lighting, effects, band, dancers, and even his talking is the best he has ever delivered. I am 100% sure he cut the setlist because he is sick. I am equally sure that the songs will be back. I pM'd Cassie and asked her if she heard the rasp or congestion or just something not quite right in his voice after that show and she said she didn't but I was sure I did. Thanks for confirming that. I didn't say anything on the list because I didn't want to be a pearl clutcher. Hmmmm. I just don't know. I went back and listened to the State Theater Mad World from yesterday. I notices some gravel or vocal fry, mostly at the beginning of phrases, but not in the sustained, pure notes. Originally, I thought that was intentional interpretation. But, after Q3's and theosgma's comments I thought..... yeah, it could be voice problems. Then, I heard what sounded like a crack at about 1:10. And he didn't go for the high ending. So, perhaps.... But if he had serious voice problems, he would not be able to sing those pure notes and phrases throughout, and he would have trouble sustaining notes. ????? youtu.be/kzW195ws-DwCurious as to the gravel sound at the beginning of phrases, I went back to a previous version in Tokyo, when he was still doing the longer show. It is difficult to compare the vocal tone with different cameras or cell phones and different audience positions, etc. But I heard the same fry at the beginning of several phrases there, too. For example, on the word "find" in the phrase "I FIND it kinda funny". That would point toward it being intentional. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPTD2XYXuAUMy conclusion? I can't say for sure one way or the other. If he is struggling with a cold or flu or something, he is incredibly professional about it, and still sounding damned good.
