You know it is really hard to see people complaining about Adam dropping songs, the set being shorter etc when some of us aren't lucky enough to see a show at all on this tour. :(

But it is also really hard to read all these complaints about the setlist when I've seen the show. I assure you -- I was at a "shortened" show and it was one of the Adam concert/show I ever saw. EVER. I did not miss the dropped songs. (ETA: I knew they were missing but I did not feel like I did not get a great show.) This show is great.

Here a bit of excellent news.... Way late on this I expect, but this answer puts my BS meter in tilt mode. You freshen a setlist by switching out a couple of songs here and there not removing six and shortening the show by 15 or so minutes. Me thinks the man my be hedging a bit. And you know, really, why should we be privvy to all the plans and reasons behind everything he says or does? Remember the days when there was no twitter, heck, no internet, and we went to shows with no idea what to expect unless there had been a review in some newspaper or national magazine? No videos, nothing. I bet we were perfectly happy with what we got, for the most part. I don't blame him for hedging. Unless he does an Axl (or a Bieber!) and gets pissed and storms off stage in the middle of the show, never to return, he has nothing to apologize for.

It is, imo, perfectly normal for people to be surprised, a little disappointed and wanting to discuss such a drastic change in the show.

The point most people are making about the setlist changes are that covers stayed, but songs he hasn't played on tour before are gone. It is not just me that would rather hear TISI over MW any day. As much as I love Let's Dance, I would much prefer his own combo of LMD/Shady 15 mins/6 songs is a lot to cut & even 2 reviews have noticed.

Did not ask for nor do I desire an apology (wtf?). Just an observation that the response does not jive with situation in my opinion.

I agree about Let's Dance -- I love it but it was a bit of a flat spot in AC. I am not sure if that was unique and it might have been. *** One of those reviews was by someone who did not see the concert and picked it up from Twitter fan posts.

Maybe after the US leg MW will be replaced. We may see the LMD, Shady, Fever trio back since he answered that question. We may not see the angsty dark medley back...which IMO made the first section a little too dark/heavy/long. But that's just me. Bottom line, he'll do what he feels like doing. And I agree with Graciejane as well. It's normal for folks to feel disappointed...not entitled...just disappointed when you perform 90 minutes for numerous shows....the expectation is there.....and then you cut out 15 minutes of showtime. Normally, you'd think a performance would essentially stay the same or perhaps grow/expand as a tour evolves rather than shrink. And, I also agree that many of his tweets are kinda BS... IMO. lol

How long were his sets in Australia and Asia? We got 90 minutes in OZ/NZ. We didn't have These Boys, but did have the Runnin,Chokehold,SW medley...TISI...and had LMD and Shady. Plus we had somewhat longer band intros. It'll be interesting to see if TIDS makes a return. I't OK to me....but don't miss not having that one.
